Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Entire independent accommodation offering all the necessary comfort for a peaceful break, whether for a weekend or an extended stay. 1 Cozy bedroom, small living room, bathroom private, outdoor kitchen, swimming pool. 1 Chalet 10 m2, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Private entrances. Only the entrance to the land is common.

A countryside suite

This 56 m2 suite, giving access to a private terrace of more than 15 m2 overlooking a pond, combines contemporary style and the character of old stonework. A large unoverlooked glass area will allow you to feel at one with nature. Guests can relax by the pyramid fireplace (lit from October to the end of April) as well as in the suite's private spa (jacuzzi). Breakfast will be offered with a sweet or savory option according to your preferences.

Relax in this atypical and charming property. Very close to the city center and quiet, you will find a guest room in an independent cottage, tastefully furnished with antique furniture. You will find all the comforts you need: shower room, air conditioning, patio and secure pool. All this nestled in a very nice landscaped garden. Not suitable for people with limited mobility. Our guest house "lesoliviersdeprovence" and is located in "Nature and Silence" area on the edge of a field of olive trees and forest, close to Gordes, Roussillon, Menerbes, Colorado provençal, Abbey St Eusèbe.. Quiet environment 3kms from Apt in the Luberon, in the center of the Park. Many restaurants around unless you prefer our delicious organic, local and seasonal homemade cuisine in the garden. On order, breakfast by the pool (12€/pers).

The house is very well located in a quiet area surrounded by greenery and landscaped and shaded space very close to all shops (1 km) 5 km from Crest. You can ride to the village bakery and have a coffee in front of a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains
