Chalet vacation rentals in La Magdeleine

The only thing better than the chalet was Marc himself. We enjoyed every second!

A very cosy stay in a welcoming chalet with great views. We felt we were staying at a friends family home in a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of amenities in the chalet. The chalet is charming and traditional.

We were a group of 10 friends and spent an amazing ski weekend at Sonya’s chalet! The chalet is very comfortable, is very well equipped and well located, at a very short walk from the gondolas and the train station. Sonya was always very nice, super responsive and helpful :) I can only recommend and looking forward to come back another time

Beautiful chalet in peaceful area outside of Chamonix. Lovely walk along the river into town, about 45' to Chamonix or Argentière. Well situated for bus or train to town and ski areas. Gorgeous interior design and furnishings, comfortable bedding and linens. Useful garage space for skis and gear. Sauna, hot tub, ping-pong table.

We stayed with another family for a ski holiday and had a great time in La Tzoumaz, Verbier etc. The house was great for a family holiday, with separate areas for the kids to hang out and watch a movie. Very well equipped kitchen. Great dining table to gather a large gang. The walk up the (steep road) to the shuttle in ski boots and carrying skis (and our kids skis too) was a bit of an unanticipated intense workout but besides that the place was great. Lovely view. Definitely needs 4 wheel drive in winter, which we did not have. Thanks for the lovely stay Mini.

Very hard to summarise this place! Very unique and amazing experience. Madeleine was a fantastic host and went the extra mile to help, particularly when we arrived later than expected on the first night. We are very fit and active people, so had no problem with the effort required to access the property… but be prepared to hike for a good 20 minutes uphill if you don’t have access to the lift! We were very organised with shopping and so able to use the lift network almost exclusively, but if you forget something essential, you’re stuck till the morning!! The hot tub was a lovely addition, and we all enjoyed a relaxing evening looking at the view! The lift is accessible between 7.15-7.45 to descend to La Chable, so we could get to lessons in Verbier for 9am, but if you missed it then it’s probably 9.30 at the earliest that you could be there. In summary, absolutely perfect for us, but be prepared to plan ahead, hike every so often, and enjoy the adventure!! Thanks Madeleine!!

Lovely chalet for a fantástic family holiday!

The airbnb was fantastic. Sauna was amazing. Our chalet looked out over the ski trail which made for great views of passing-by skiers (and late night stumblers from Hennu stall). The only thing I'll note is that the path to the chalet splits in 2 and there is a much easier way (lower incline) that should be more heavily advertised.

Incredible Airbnb! Loved the house, it was so beautiful inside and with the floor to ceiling windows you could really experience the beauty of the mountains around you. We had two young children with us and really appreciated the mountains of toys provided! The alpin express is just around the corner and so easy to access the mountain from there if you are a good skier! We had to drop the kids at ski school so sadly couldn’t use it. Such a storybook village and a beautiful Airbnb to match

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage in Chamonix. Not only was the home spotless, it was simply the nicest AirBnb we’ve ever rented. The decor was very tastefully done and the furnishings and cookware were top of the line. The place looks exactly like the photos. It also gives you access to the village of Argentiere, with its patisseries and souvenir shops just around the corner. And if you’re a skier, simply walk down to Les Grand Montets ski resort. Or hop on the train and go to any of the resorts in the Chamonix valley. Finally our host Rachael was the best. She was very responsive whenever we had a question about the chalet and getting around town.

Patrice was extremely helpful, rather than long texts he was kind enough to call to explain things quickly. The place was superb it was like a dream everywhere you looked there was a huge mountain in the background. I would say our chalet was the best because it was one of the highest ones and most private. I proposed there and it's a place I will certainly never forget.

Wonderful house and wonderful host!

Wonderful, modern, and stylish chalet. Very spacious with large patio and garden and in stunning nature. So many activities in the area. Our family vacation was a dream come true.
