“There are so many wonderful things about Adri's private apartment. Apartment: Exactly as described by Adri in this AirBnB website. Perfect size for 1-2 people: large living room with cross breezes, well-equipped kitchen, washer with clotheslines, bathroom with hot shower and large fluffy towels. Large bedroom with king bed, comfy bedding (and extra blanket when chill), closets, end tables and large tv monitor with cable. Location: Ideal for me. Set in a small, tranquil neighbourhood, I had all the quiet I wanted and was able to explore the Valley easily. I enjoyed walking the rural side roads of "the main highway" among farmlands, ranch lands; interspersed with locals selling their vegetables, fruits, honey, and coffee. It was easy to walk miles surrounding Calle Barrantes. The bus system and Uber are great. My first time with both (public bus and Uber). Good systems. Service: The greatest joy of renting this B&B was connecting with the gracious, warm and attentive family: Adriana, her mother Ana, and her brother Marvin. Ana was impeccable in her care of the house. Marvin's hospitality and kindness was displayed as he offered a tour of surrounding towns, including grocery shops, restaurants, public transpo access, etc. Bottom Line: I will return. I felt at home. and it suited me for a good balance of socialisation and isolation. Pura vida.”
