In winter the resort will also delight you if you are looking for a family friendly ski place. Metabief is 15 minutes from the Swiss border.

Situé au coeur du parc naturel du Haut Jura et de la région des lacs, à 820 M d’altitude, le chalet est un havre de paix. Le Lac d’Etival à 1,5KM, commerces à 9KM( Clairvaux les Lacs), pistes de ski de fond à 6KM, pistes ski de descente à 30 minutes en voiture. Nombreuses balades ou VTT à faire depuis le chalet. Autres activités sports nautiques, équitation, accrobranche,raquettes, luge tout dans un rayon de 15KM.

Malbuisson has several restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Shops nearby (bakery, supermarket, butcher and organic store) 10 minutes from Métabief and 15 minutes from Switzerland. The region offers many activities, both sporting and cultural, such as hiking and mountain biking (from the cottage), tree climbing, swimming, sailing, canoeing (20 km) Château de Joux, bell foundry, cheese factories... The proximity to Switzerland (30 km) will take you to other horizons.
