Had a wonderful stay - the place was very clean and well stocked. The cheese, fruit and fresh baguettes left out for us upon arrival was an added bonus! Lots to do in the area, with many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! Such a great spot! Quiet, cozy and straight forward with everything needed for a relaxing and genuine rural Canada experience. A perfect place for a couple to get away and enjoy! Highly recommended!

Suzanne and Fred’s place is absolutely stunning. It’s right by the lake which is what we absolutely loved about the place. The lake was small and peaceful as it didn’t have any motorised boats. Suzanne and Fred were such amazing hosts. They welcomed us so warmly and Fred even gave us quick canoe lessons. My fiancé and I are so amazed by Fred and Suzanne’s graciousness as hosts and we are already planning are return back in the summer.
