Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lagos

Located in Luz ...Small grocery store nearby , Praia da Luz is walkable , also there is one pizzeria (Authentic Italian ) 6 minutes walk from house. 30-45 mins drive to Benagil caves. Also perfectly matched as described.

We had a very nice time with children in the house. The garden is great for playing and well defined. You can walk in nearby oak forests and the zoo is very close. The beaches are just amazing. Pedro was very friendly and helped us on short notice!

Home from home! Very spacious for a family of 5 with everything you could need and quality furnishings. This is the best location in luz 100m from the beach but very peaceful and private. Beautiful trees surround the property where we enjoyed the spring birds singing as the sun went down. I was worried as it didnt have 5 stars but i needn’t have as it is def a 5 star place. See you next year and I will book earlier this time 👌

There were six of us and every one of us was very happy with the villa from the beginning. The villa is much larger than in the pictures and gives everyone enough space to enjoy their vacation. The saltwater pool and outdoor area are the highlight. On too windy days on the beach, you always have a plan B to still lie in the sun. In addition, the converted garage with ping pong table etc. is just great and almost gives you the feeling of not wanting out of the house, as you just have everything you need.

Perfect home base for lagos, beautiful and well appointed. Immaculate upkeep!

Great place for a good price

Magnificent Manifesting! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. Outside area was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Lovely outside cooking and dining area which we used a lot and the sea is much closer than appears in the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped and the local shops are an easy and beautiful walk to pick up any additional extras. Close to lovely restaurants and bars filled with friendly people and staff. Luz is a wonderful location to explore the Algarve however a week is not enough as there is much to see and do 😉. Just a note that the access to the pool area would not be conducive to someone with mobility issues but is beautiful. Something that everyone really appreciated was the very positive water pressure 😂 seems like a small thing however weirdly it matters. I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend this villa to friends and family. Ideally located, with charm and character in a beautiful location, sea breezes and with a fab host 🙏

Stayed in this cute apartment for one week . Free parking locally, great location within the old town , near to shops , restaurants and bars . The apartment is remarkably quite for its location, we slept extremely well. The apartment itself has everything you need , nice touches eg condiments available in kitchen . We loved having bfast in the enclosed balcony with the sunrising. Paulo , communicated very well & promptly . Netflix is available if you have an account you can login which was great at night . We were here for the World Superbikes races at the Algarve Autodrome which was a 22 minute drive away . We will definitely be back , thank you for a great stay !

We were very warmly welcomed by Paul. There were even welcome snacks! The apartment is large, clean and comfortably furnished! It is situated in a quiet location, but you can reach the city on foot. The apartment has a fantastic sea view and you could really find all the equipment, both in the kitchen and in the remaining rooms. We felt very comfortable as a small family and look forward to next time! Thank you!

Claudia’s apartment is a real gem of an airbnb. Situated right on the front in Burgau, it’s a stones throw from the sea and great restaurants. The apartment itself was full of generous little touches that really made it a home away from home. Thank you so much Claudia!

Very convenient to all of the shops, bars and restaurants in the old town. Nice view from 7th floor over apartments and parkland provided a nice breezeway. Peggy was very approachable, helpful and proactive, especially in the midst of the Great Iberian Blackout of 2025, where I think she worried more about us than herself! The apartment has a spacious living room with a small wood stove that we didn’t need in late April. The kitchen has a small washing machine, and a drying rack can fit on the small deck. Tables for dining in the kitchen and on the deck are small but functional. Parking can be a challenge, but there is another lot to the left. One of the elevators wasn’t working while we were there, but there were very few people in the building so we rarely had to wait. The bed was reasonably comfortable but a hump in the middle keeps sleepers to their side. Note that there is only one outlet bedside. We enjoyed our 4 nights in Lagos and would rent with Peggy again.

We felt right at home. The apartment is very well located and as it is at the end of the street, also very quiet. There is everything you need and more (games, toys, beach accessories). The host is the best thing about the apartment. Friendly, accommodating, communicative and just adorable. I highly recommend the apartment for a holiday as a couple or with friends and children. Parking is straightforward and this small place is simply fantastic if you don't want to go to the typical holiday resorts with fries, pizza and many people. The place is perfect for hiking, discovering, delicious food and as a base for excursions.

The space was perfect for us. The terrace is huge with a beautiful view of the ocean. The AC units worked well. The kitchen is well stocked. We definitely recommend and would book again. A few touches would make the stay even better. One bath towel per person for 5 nights was a little tough. We had to wash and hang dry after a few uses. Beach chairs and an insulated bag or two would have been great but there were plenty of beach towels and it was easy to rent loungers and umbrellas at the beach. We also would have preferred a top sheet and fitted sheet on the bed- the comforter was too warm most nights but there was no sheet. It may just be a European thing. The American culture is a bit different. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We hope to return.

The most amazing place we’ve ever stayed. We travel as a family of 7 and use Airbnb regularly all over the world. This is the best presented, best location, so close to fun experiences, history, culture, beaches. We all loved it and wish we’d stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well thought out and stunningly decorated, with well curated art. It felt like home much more than the average Airbnb experience. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely villa. It had everything we needed for a month-long stay with our baby - we especially loved the BBQ and the heated pool! The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and some great hiking trails, and a quick drive to a few of the bigger supermarkets. We experienced some unusually bad weather and a massive storm which caused power outages in the area, but the management company was extremely helpful and responsive throughout. Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend!

Villa Mirembe is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for complete relaxation. The swimming pool is beautiful and thankfully not heavily chlorinated. Luz is a short walk and has some lovely restaurants. We enjoyed delicious tapas at Boateys. We definitely plan on returning to the villa. When I commented that our flight was late evening on the last day Lee kindly extended our check out time. Many thanks 🙏

We loved the place! Everything was perfect! The house is spacious and every room has its own bathroom. The walking trails behind the house are also great to explore! We would love to come back one day! Perfect for families with kids!

At David’s you feel directly at home, the terrace with the flowers, the cozy lighting, the general atmosphere, … it’s a place where the owner really CARES! I would always recommend and come back.

We have had a lovely week staying at this beautiful villa, with our 3 grown up children and their partners. We loved the pool, hot tub and lovely garden. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. All communications with Margot were helpful and she always replied very quickly. We had a small issue on holiday which was dealt with immediately we contacted her, Would definitely love to return to this villa.

Casa Salute is a lovely house in a great location. Luz is a pretty village with a great beach and good facilities. The house is comfortable, cool, clean and quiet - and looks just as listed. The two large terraces (south-east facing) are great: the upper one with its fabulous sea and cliff view is best in the early morning or late afternoon, while in the heat of the midday sun the downstairs one with its shade was perfect. Although the temperature reached the low 30s in the day, the house remained cool, especially at night, usually even without the ceiling fans or air conditioning. The location is excellent - just a couple of minutes to the beach, the supermarket and the restaurants, and yet very quiet. We also enjoyed the pool at the nearby hotel. Inês and Rita at CoolHouses were lovely hosts - very responsive, helpful and friendly. Overall, thoroughly recommended!

My daughter and son-in-law stayed two years ago and couldn't stop talking about how much they loved this accommodation. So much so that they insisted my sister and I stay as well and we did not regret a minute of it. Ricardo and Patrice were incredibly welcoming and helpful, including booking our kayaking excursion for us, and the space is incredibly comfortable and beautiful. They go above and beyond..even providing wonderful homemade treats! We will definitely return. Michele & Melissa
