“A very charming place for a spring or especially summer getaway, for a short or long getaway. An ideal place for people who actively spend time. Equipment can be rented on site that is available directly from the host. Great terrace by the mill. Great location for family outings even with animals. Very hospitable and helpful host. In the morning, a young and very cheerful Barnese (probably the host's dog) greeted me with a waving tail. I was in winter going to my son for Christmas, but I can't wait to see how beautiful it will be there in spring or summer. I would highly recommend!”

“Cozy comfortable cabin in a serene relaxing tranquil setting. We stayed here for three nights with four people including a nine year old girl. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with every thing you could possibly need to cook with. The hosts were friendly and helpful but we were able to relax and do as we pleased. We felt like we had our privacy. The BBQ area was amazing. We swam in the lake. We played games on the grass. We relaxed. We love animals so we liked having pets on the property but they were never in our way - we rarely saw them. The cabin and property are very well maintained and the garden is beautiful. The lake water was warm. On our second day we went to the local store in the village next to the property - only a 7 min drive and it was well stocked. They had everything we needed: fresh fruit, eggs, mosquito spray, bottled water, and Coke Zero for my father-in-law and some fresh bakery items. We were able to use the entire large lush grass area - our daughter did gymnastics the entire time. It is very quiet and peaceful at night - we slept really well. We had an issue getting there for some reason our navigation device did not recognize a newish road and kept sending us in circles but the host gave us wonderful directions before we left that got us home in two hours (back to Berlin). Communication with the host was very good. Because we got lost, he waited a good five hours to meet us and direct us to the property which was very kind of him. It was a bit hot at night for sleeping but the windows in the sleeping rooms have screens so you can open them to get some cool air in. All in all we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to those we want a serene calm relaxing place. You do need to bring your own drinking water - the host supplied some but it is not enough for the entire stay. We used the tap water for brushing our teeth and that was fine.”

“Surroundings: the cottage is located near the larger and more natural of the lakes in Łagów, on which it is wild, quiet and peaceful. The lake shore and bicycle trail can be reached in a few minutes. The town, shops, more commercial lake and restaurants are within a bit longer walk, along the lake path or along the street. In the forests and reserves near Łagów we observed beaver and crane feeding grounds, many other birds, hares, and deer. Cycle routes are often German roads with cat heads or forest paths with protruding roots. In Łagów there is a castle, a former Joannite monastery and a former German railway bridge, several other monuments nearby, and the atmosphere of the former summer resort is the most interesting. Hosts: They were helpful and very caring. We got grapes, pears and tomatoes from their garden, as well as preserves, an additional heater although we didn't need it and towels for a change. The hosts were available for any question. Marek drove the area with us by car and showed us interesting places creating a local color. The house: wooden and comfortable, brand new, stands on the property of the hosts discretely separated by trees on which squirrels and birds fly. Heating is mobile electric heaters. In addition to the bedroom with two single beds, there is a comfortable double bed in the living room. A cat and a neighbor's dog would come to us - extremely friendly.”
