Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Small, charming double room on historic farm. Own entrance, access to garden, river (swimming area) and forest. Ideal for relaxing and hiking. The Weiltalweg, a cycling and hiking trail between Schmitten and Weilburg, leads above the house. Important: the room is not large, 12 square meters. There is TV, dishes, cutlery, a kettle, a fridge, a French press, but no kitchen! This includes a mini bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.
