Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Gaston

Jacqui was a great host. She was a clear communicator and responded quickly to any questions I had. There was a snowstorm prior to my stay and she kept me updated on the conditions and offered flexible options. Would definitely stay here again!

Jenn and Bob were great hosts! The lake was absolutely perfect for my family and what we were looking for. We had never heard of Lake Gaston or been to this part of NC but we are big fans now and will definitely be back. The amenities were great! Littleton is such a cute little quiet town. There were a few good restaurants close by but we enjoyed cooking most meals! We will certainly be back.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this beautiful lakefront home for our retreat! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views of the lake were stunning, and we especially loved having direct access to the water for kayaking and other activities. There was plenty of space for group meals, games, and downtime. The outdoor area was peaceful and perfect for enjoying the fresh air and scenery. The hosts were very responsive and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this spot for any group looking for a relaxing escape with great amenities and beautiful surroundings!

I didn’t get to write in the book due to time restrictions on my behalf, but Brian and Michelle’s home was ABSOLUTELY perfect for my family and I, I really wished we had more time to really enjoy the scenery and the space! My siblings and I have discussed revisiting Brian and Michelle’s home if we would be allowed to. A HUGE thank you to you both for allowing us to visit for the Baptism/christening and providing a space where we could all be together and visit our grandparents at the same time!! Thanks for being a part of this amazing memory!

This is the definition of a lake house! So much was made available from board games and Wii to hot tub, s’mores by the fire. Joanne was so responsive and transparent about her time availability. The water was a little cold unfortunately but it made up to the giant catfish we were catching off the dock. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home on Lake Gaston! Katie was an awesome host and we felt right at home in her place. Close to the grocery store, coffee shops, and Lake Gaston Fitness Center to name a few. We were there to see our grandsons and the trip was perfect-we’d definitely stay at Katie’s home again.

We loved everything about our stay. From the house itself with the adorable frogs to the location on the lake, it checked all the boxes! We loved exploring in the kayak/canoe, relaxing on the back deck and watching all the boaters and jet skiers go by (they were very friendly!), doing puzzles inside, and everything in between. The house had everything we needed, which was wonderful. Tom was so quick with his responses and a great host. We would rent again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a lovely stay, Tom.

Our recent stay at McKenzie's lakefront house was spectacular! The dock is west facing and you could catch a good sunset on the lake. One of the highlights of our stay was the availability of kayaks, paddles, and life jackets, which allowed us to explore the lake at our own pace and convenience. The proximity to local amenities added to the ease of our vacation. lake Gaston coffee shop was just a short walk away, perfect for those early mornings! For all our other needs, Food Lion was conveniently located and well-stocked. The property itself was incredible, especially the large yard facing the lake, which was our favorite spot to relax. In the evenings! Great firepit too! The sun room was our favorite room in the house - we spent a good amount of time lounging there and watching TV. The dogs had a good time and good amount of space to wander around the yard. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Everything about the location and the home was fantastic. We throughly enjoyed our weekend get away to nature. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything anyone would need to spend a nice relaxing time. Summer was super nice, responsive and very accommodating. Lake was near by, quick drive or about 15 min walk, very peaceful in the morning. Fire pit outside in the evening was incredible. Overall great place to get away into the nature. Looking forward to return!

Great location on the lake, close (within 8 minutes ) restaurants and pretty view. Peaceful. Clean and had everything we needed.

It was a great stay at your cabin. Wish could of enjoyed more but was a work trip. Wanted to let you know that the grill was about to catch fire when I lighted it. You need to check and see what is going on with the grill. Planning to come back again this week and tried to book again but already booked. We look forward to staying there again in the future to be able to enjoy pond and down time.

Fantastic cabin in the woods. Huge back deck overlooking the water. Bedrooms were nice size and nicely decorated. There were great little touches such as a basket of chips at the door many different options for coffee, ground or keurig. Honestly it’s exactly what me and my wife are looking for when we retire.

We had great time with family and it was a perfect location. The area was very quiet!
