All-in-all, this is a cabin that is private and serene, particularly mid-week and off-peak season. The view was to die for, and the cabin had all of the amenities you'd expect of a high-end getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable barn apartment! The peaceful ranch setting, complete with beautiful horses, made for such a special and serene experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful—communication was flawless from start to finish. We’re so grateful for the warmth, hospitality, and peaceful energy of this place. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing escape surrounded by nature and kind souls!

Me and my girlfriends came for a little weekend trip to Anza-Borrego (about an hr away) and as cool as the desert trip, staying at Laurie's was the highlight of it all. We didn't get to explore the whole property, but we loved the therapy trails and the diversity of the nature. Journeying around the forest, through the boulder garden, and hiking to the zen zone were absolutely the reset we needed. The whole experience is expertly curated. I'll admit, there were points on the therapy trail (the wind phone in particular) that had me crying and really connecting with my feelings. The cabin itself is smaller, but was perfect for the 3 of us. It was spotless, and bonus points for the grill having propane and the hot tub already being on. So great to not think about it. I will say it got colder than expected, so we bundled at night. I hope to return soon, maybe in summer, definitely with my dog next time :)
