Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Michigan

Robert was amazing with great communication during the whole stay. He was very kind and friendly. The house was clean as was the outside and hot tub. We had everything we needed during our stay. If we are back in the area ever, we would stay here again!

This was our first time using an Airbnb and Tracy made our first experience so great!!! She responded fast to any of our messages. She accommodated our little family perfectly, she allowed the dogs and offered a high chair and pack and play for our baby. When plans slightly changed for us she was very helpful and responsive to the changes. Her cozy bungalow was very clean and the perfect size with a fenced in back yard and she made it very easy to check in.

James is a great host. Communication is easy. I booked the place at the same day because some friends changed their plan and arrived earlier. He quickly responded to our booking.

Ben's place was great. No complaints. Great location. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is absolutely magical — it’s one of the only Airbnb properties I’ve stayed at where being there was even better than it looks in the photos. Every inch of space is perfectly used (for instance - the cushions for the outdoor seats fit perfectly into one of the built-in storage areas in the wall) and the whole place feels open and airy. Elena is a wonderful host and gave us a ton of great recommendations. We will visit again!

Excellent stay! Joshua was unbelievably accommodating and friendly. Met us at the house and walked us through the entire place. Very understanding and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommended and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

We had a great time here. The condo is in a good location and very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t utilize the pool or hot tub but we did scope it out. It looks like a great area to watch the boats come in and out of the harbor.

Thomas was friendly and the space was clean! We had 13 guests and there was plenty of room and lots to do! I never felt like we were in top of each other.

It’s a very nice and unique stay. The whole family enjoyed their time, so many activities to keep everyone occupied. The home has plenty of room so everyone had enough space to spend together and to eventually branch apart in small groups all over the house, it seems all families seem to do at some point, especially when you have teenagers. I also enjoyed how private the location was. I would recommend this place to anyone and may stay here again if given the chance.

We stayed during the holidays and brought our pups. Debra's place is pet friendly to the extreme!!! There was a kennel we could use, a water bowl and drip try, canister of treats, an extra least, and a pooper scooper! It was great to be able to travel with the pups and the place worked out great for us. Debra was very responsive when we needed to find some salt due to the icy steps and had some on hand - pet safe nonetheless!

This airbnb was the best I’ve ever rented. Everything was explained clearly about the property, before and in a booklet when we arrived. Tristen had everything we would need there at the property from hand soap, dish detergent, paper towel, trash bags, spices, coffee, towels, toilet paper, washcloths, fully stocked kitchen such as pots, pans, plates, silverware, the list goes on. She also had laundry detergent for the washer available! I have never stayed at an airbnb that was as fully stocked with all the things we expect to have to go and buy for a week when renting an airbnb. The home was beautiful and decorated well. Lots or boardgames, and things to do nearby. I highly recommend this place, we will come back when the weather is warmer. Thank you Tristen!

I had an incredible stay at Wanda's house! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The home was exactly as described, even better in person—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending that weekend. I especially loved how cozy and convenient it was. Wanda went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience, providing flexible check in/out times, ample snacks, and an abundance of amenities to help it feel more like home. My husband and I stayed at Kathleen’s place for the weekend. We really enjoyed our time in Door County…but more importantly, we loved the cottage barn experience that Kathleen’s place offered. From the start, Kathleen was proactive with communication and extremely responsive throughout the process. The barn was beautifully designed and decorated. We felt safe, comfortable, and very happy with the amenities the house offered. We definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay and relax for a day, weekend, or longer. Mary is a great and kind host. She made ourselves like feeling at home. Homemade muffins were greatly appreciated. She also made us an extra gifts by proving some extra toys for our toddler. She was also flexible with check in and check out. Very nice decorated home!!

Great place, very comfortable. I came up north to his place with my husband, daughter and my 2 Labradors to celebrate my 70th birthday and recent retirement. The place was clean and very inviting, we all loved it. I never met Andrew in person, but he was just a text message away and was very responsive to any needs we may have and the kind message to make sure our check in was okay. Thank you Andrew!

We definitely enjoyed our stay here, Kelsey was very responsive and the house was comfortable with plenty of stuff to entertain everyone. We loved how stocked the house was, it had everything we needed and then some. It is on a fairly busy road so if you bring your pups, just be aware of that. It wasn't hard to keep ours in the yard though.
