Private suite vacation rentals in Lake Michigan

What a wonderfully peaceful place to visit. Had absolutely everything we needed and then some. Kitchen was fully supplied. I love to cook, so we made every meal. Plenty of blankets to be warm and comfy along with a nice space heater. A nicely set up fire pit and chairs with plenty of firewood and hot cocoa to go with it. We visited Shipshewana, only about 30 minutes away. We will definitely stay here in the future for a nice peaceful getaway! ❤️

We stayed at Cathy's place while having plans at Nub's Nob. The location was absolutely perfect. Cathy was incredibly friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful and comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. We would, without a doubt, stay here again when in the area.

This was my second time staying at this Airbnb, and it was just as enjoyable the second time as it was the first! I will definitely be back again in the future! The place is clean, welcoming, relaxing, and overall a very enjoyable experience!

We had a great stay at Jo’s place. Jo was super responsive and the place was very intimate. The highlight is the cute outdoor patio with a fire pit and party lights. The space is perfect for a couple + a pet (my recommendation) who is looking to explore TC and retire for the night at this location as there is no Kitchen (only a microwave and mini fridge). Overall well maintained and clean and a central location in Traverse City.

This is an excellent place to stay, I highly recommend it. If you perhaps have relatives living in Greencroft as I did or if you want to visit Notre Dame in South Bend, Shipshewana, or perhaps nearby Bonneyville Mill, the location is ideal.

Nice private place in a safe neighborhood. Very close to CTA station (blue line). Very clean. It was nice from Frank having some soft drinks and water bottles in the refrigerator. We arrived late at night and he was waiting for us. Very clean.

Great cozy spot near Wicker Park, Chicago. Easy check in and heather held our bags after check out before our flight. Be aware that this unit does not have a stove. Microwave and toaster oven were useful, though!

Jennifer was very accommodating and quick to respond. The place was perfect for what we needed. Had all the kitchen and bathroom stuff you would need. Cute place close to the beach!

Great location in Suttons Bay for our visit. Close proximity to TART bike trail and plenty of wineries, restaurants, and a nearby waterfront park. Can’t beat the views in the fall time. Great hosts who were friendly and accommodating. Space was very clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again!

Everything went well. The apartment is part of a larger house. We had neighbors during our stay. There is a shared fire pit, but a private deck leading to the apartment. The house is right next to the ferry and bike/moped rentals, so very convenient. The space just has a small kitchenette with a fridge and toaster oven, so you can't really cook. Be aware of this during non-prime season because a lot of restaurants are closing for the season. All was clean and tidy. The water is from a well, so the smell of sulfur was pretty strong after a shower. We had a nice time.

What a truly unique experience! It's not every day you get to stay on a farm with 25 horses. Katherine was incredibly welcoming and kind, taking the time to show me around and share stories about the farm. I also loved the peaceful nature walk through the forest. My dog had an amazing time as well, she was so happy to be there. An unforgettable experience all around!

Magical Winter Weekend! Our girls' weekend at Cook’s Cottage was absolutely perfect! We were looking for a cozy winter getaway, and this place exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, with stunning views of the frozen lake. It was the perfect backdrop for our winter wonderland escape. We spent our days curled up by the fireplace, playing games, and catching up. What truly made this trip special were Corey and Michelle's thoughtful touches. Corey’s handcrafted lattes are amazing!The cooking class with Michelle was the highlight of the weekend. Delicious! The house was impeccably clean, and the amenities were top-notch. Corey and Michelle were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. They truly went above and beyond to create a memorable experience.

Brad and Abby's place was just a described and photographed. It was peacefully tucked into the cove of the lake in a quiet neighborhood which is exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely stay again!

Didn't realize the Room was attached to the house the hosts live in. But they were very nice.

Lesley's place is great! So much to do in the neighborhood and easy to get to other parts of the city with a bus stop right right around the corner. The place is spacious and you can tell that Lesley cares about design and comfort. Everything I needed was there and Lesley was a great host, welcoming me and checking in to see if I needed anything. Would highly recommend her place and her as a host!

Not gonna find a better spot in this area for the price. 5 minutes from mountain. Friendly guy and the place was comfortable. My buddy and I had plenty of room. Hot tub also super sweet 🤘. Will book again when heading back to the ski resort.

I can't say enough good things about the host, responsive, courteous, extremely accommodating. The street is quiet and free street parking is a real bonus. About a 4 block walk to a big, new Whole Foods and a half mile to the start of the Southport retail area. This is the downstairs unit so there are some footfalls (and occasional woofing) overhead but very quiet overall. As mentioned in the listing, the ceilings and doorways are low, and the bedroom and bathroom are compact, but fine for a shorter person like me. I had a safe and comfortable 3 night stay here.

This is a great little spot in a lovely, fun neighborhood. Host was welcoming and communicative, and made sure that we had everything we need. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was great, there are extra towels in the bathroom, it’s helpful to have laundry available, and the water filter in the fridge is a nice touch (alongside several tea and coffee options.) We really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to walk around the neighborhood and appreciate the local historical architecture!

Emily's Apartment is a jewel. This basement studio is perfect for the weekend stay or business traveler. The kitchen is sufficient for meals and includes a gas oven. The bathroom is cute with great water pressure. The space is large enough to feel comfortable and you even have access to a washer and dryer unit. The bed is comfortable and is situated in a little nook in the back of the space. The sofa is comfy and the TVs have all the apps. The owner went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great. It was a pleasure to work with Emily. She is proactive and attentive. The neighborhood felt safe and there are any restaurants and grocery stores you could possibly need within 10mins. I highly recommend this apartment to singles, couples for weekend visits or business trips.

This was the perfect cozy retreat for me while I attended Chicago Stationery Fest. The location couldn’t have been better! It was easy to catch a Lyft to and from some of my favorite spots in Chicago. Thank you Axel & Amanda for the comfortable stay!
