The property is a picturesque 30 acres of Australian Bush Land and only 15 minutes drive from the Bruce Highway and Gin Gin. There are friendly Miniature and Milking Goats for Goat Herding Therapy and depending on the season, you will see King Parrots, Lorikeets, Galahs, Cockatoo, Kangaroos, a variety of lizards and Echidna. Pet and Child friendly, conditions apply. No other paying guests stay on the property during your stay. I am not seen unless needed.
“Settlers Cottage is accurately described and as you see in the photos. It is a beautifully created compact cottage. On top of that, the location is truly stunning, rural but not that far from Gin Gin where you have good access to amenities. The wildlife is in perfect harmony with the setting. Lynne is the perfect host. We only had one night on a road trip. Would highly recommend for one night or but if looking for a place for a quiet retreat. Loved it and would love to visit again. Thank you Lynne 😊”
My place is on 40 acres with private boat ramp onto Baffle Creek. You’ll love my place because of the spacious acommodation, swimming [spring-fed dam], fishing, crabbing, wildlife, peace and quiet. Row boat hire available [you can bring your own motor - up to 6hp]
“My husband and brother-in-law made a last minute decision to hear to Baffle Creek to fish. Dianne's place popped up, looked great from what I could see online. The guys said it was everything they expected and more- an extremely clean and great space. Dianne was really great in getting back to me with all my last minute questions. Bill, the caretaker was very helpful also. We will all be back! Thanks Dianne. Kym, Dane, Lloyd.”
About half way between Gin Gin and Mt Perry on 100acres, Greenacres Hobbyfarm Retreat is a large family home, with beautiful gardens and is child and pet friendly. 3 King size guest bedrooms all open onto large verandas. TV in each room. Breakfast inclusive. A photographers delight. Sit back and relax, soak in the spa with pleasant outdoor views or go exploring, many varieties of birds, along with local wildlife or interact with our farm animals, goats, sheep, maremma dog and chickens.
“Great farmstay! We had a very warm welcome and Pat and Greg made us feel at home right away. Nothing was too much and Greg even took us on a night safari to see the wallabies. The rooms are big and comfortable, everything is spotless and the big veranda has an amazing view. You can see the moon rise up over the hill! The place is also great for children, a lot of toys, swing, babygoats and chicks. If you’re in the area, make sure to stay at this place!”
