“Great accommodation with the gazebo in the courtyard and the pool with warm water. We tried the oranges from their garden ... very good. Mrs. Nina very kind and affectionate ... and Manuel and Mrs. very attentive.”
(com. de hóspede) Arthur and Celeste, we only have a few words for you: Thank you for being in Paradise... thank you for all.
“Our stay went very well. We were very well received by Arthur's brother who was super friendly and helpful. Artur was always available to communicate, even though he was outside Portugal. The house is great and has everything you need for a good vacation. The place is ideal for those who want to be quiet near the mountain and a 20 min drive from the beaches. Well worth the stay at Schist House.”
*Naturist Place! Only couples and families! This Dome with 25m2 has a living area with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Also outside is a 25m2 own space for relax or even put the BQQ. This other place, is a beautiful garden, on the top of a hill, with cozy pool, places to relax, and also other instalations. There is toilets and showers in the down part from the garden and in the near from the pool, also a Bar, wich is made above a pound with fishes and plants. More info: www.limanature.com
“What an awesome space the Dome is. Adriano was at their other campsite but the hospitality of his sister and father were second to none. We took up the offer for dinner one night which was great and got on very well with the two German guys staying there and had them over to our dome for dinner the next night. We felt sorry for them as they were in the tent and there was three days of rain non stop whereas August normally doesn't rain for more than 2 hours. BTW dinner was 10 euros and wine 12 a bottle. At the bar are snacks too with an honesty tab book plus there is a coffee machine. The place is really well designed as well as beautiful with lots of eco-ness. The fish in the pond are there to eat the mosquitos! Is a stunning garden and forest around but for me in the cloud and mist was even more magical. You need to be naked by the pool area normally as is a naturist site but rain n cold meant that was not necessary this occasion. The dome is in a far corner so you have lots of privacy away from the pool if naturism is not your thing. What else? Bed very comfortable. Sawdust toilet okay really once you get over seeing your number 2. As days went on had more and more insects inside including waking up last day face to face with a massive cricket but that comes with staying in beautiful nature. Hot water turned to cold just as I thought it was safe to wash my hair every time so I gave up in a huff. Kitchen is okay but very sparse equipment so bring scissors, potato peeler, knife for veg (was only bread knife) and frying pan (lots of saucepans) with turner. However if we could be bothered to ask I am sure they would have lent us anything we needed. There is one hob ring, an oven/grill and a microwave - small fridge of course. Could not work out coffee machine so used one at bar - instructions would be good. My roasted apple slices were a triumph and we managed to have a dinner party even so cannot be bad. We got train from Porto to Barroselas (only 6-8 euros each way) and then taxi was 15 euros to LimaNatur - make sure you go to right one of their two campsites as we got confused by this. Taxi to Ponte de Lima was 18 euros and that is such a beautiful town with amazing food at La Cofradia restaurant and you can walk a bit of the Camino de Santiago which is very pleasant.”
