“Great location! Near Lassen, driveable to Shasta. The snow made for a picturesque landscape out our cabin window & my son loved playing in it. Cabin was cozy & warmed well with a portable heater that was provided & on when we arrived.”

“Martha and her husband have a beautiful bed and breakfast nestled back in the tall pines next to Lassen Volcanic National Park. When I called to let them know we were a little late in the evening checking in, they were sure to ask us if we had had dinner...and if not to be sure and eat dinner in Shingletown first as places tend to close early. They suggested a couple of places. Nice tips! Their home is beautiful. We had a spacious room, our own bathroom (down the hall), and felt very at home to be able to go down to the kitchen for water or coffee/tea that was available. Everything was clean and neat. Breakfast was SO good!...omelets, toast, sausage, bacon, fruit...absolutely perfect. We wanted for nothing. Martha was a joy to chat with...and they have a wonderful, loving calm dog, named Milo. He was SO well behaved and sweet! There are very few, affordable places to stay in the area and this one is a treasure!”
This charming little studio cabin is located in the popular Hamilton Branch area of Lake Almanor, CA. Enjoy everything Lake Almanor has to offer which includes boating, fishing, kayaking, biking, motorcycle riding or hiking. We are also short drive to Lassen Volcanic National Park too.
“I grew up at the lake and wanted to share it with my wife. It was her first visit to Lake Almanor, so I really wanted it to be special. After reviewing a myriad of different options, I choose this due to its location on the lake, the price was great and from the pictures, it looked to have all we needed, and what we didn’t need (TV) lol Upon arrival, we were so happy with the small, romantic feel and being across the road from the lake. The little cabin had all we needed. My wife has been bragging on it since we got home and we both are so looking forward to our next visit.”
