Four and a half miles from the historic town of Ligonier, this home offers all you would need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. A labor of love, we built this home with hopes of someday retiring here to enjoy all the area has to offer. In the heart of the Laurel Highlands this home is close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking, Idlewild and Soakzone, and Ligonier Camp and Conference Center.
“This was our second annual stay here with our friends (4 adults, 4 kids), and we continue to love this creekside getaway! The Finch House is no cabin: it's almost certainly nicer than your house at home. It's well-equipped with everything you might need, from board games and puzzles to a waffle maker and toaster oven, and it's decorated in a stylish and thoughtful way. Outside, there's a wonderful new patio and shady porch, and of course the creek, which our kids loved playing in. Given the pandemic we spent most of our time in and around the house and never felt bored. I'm so grateful to have such a nice space to visit, and hope to return next summer.”
Very beautiful five bedroom cabin located within minutes of both Seven Springs, Hidden valley ski, and Laurel Summit resorts. This home is surrounded in peaceful wooded setting. It has its own unique cabin charm.
“This cabin was just what we were looking for as a place to go away for a couple days for our honeymoon. Cabin was clean and had the amenities we needed. Close the state parks so we spent one day hiking, and then relaxing in the hot tub after.”
The Ridgeview Bungalow sits on three acres and is in the Laurel Highlands just above Jacobs Creek. The country setting is a perfect place for a quiet get away. Pittsburgh, Ohiopyle, and Falling Water are easy day trips. Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Ski Resorts are a seventeen mile drive. The bungalow is also a great place to simply hang out. A cozy living room in the winter or the front porch overlooking the surrounding mountain range create a relaxing atmosphere.
“Thank you for opening your home to us. We enjoyed sitting out on the porches, listening to the birds, seeing deer and turkey, and taking in the view. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The beds were comfortable. We hiked at Forbes State Park—Roaring Run Natural Area (30 min drive) and Mt. Davis (60 min drive). Beautiful! Painted trillium in bloom.”
