“Thank you Carmen for everything! Delicious enjoyed the house and pool, it is more than a fifteen minute walk to the metro and once you are in it is about 25 minutes to the center of Valencia. I would recommend it to many people except people with children who crawl or just walk because there are no stair gates or barricades for the stairs inside and outside the house. We have a child of 1 who is quite mobile and we found that quite difficult from the house. For the rest in terms of facilities it was great and the hostess is super sweet. Good value for money! Gracias Carmen para todo!”

“If you want to stay with nice, uncomplicated and generous people, this is the place to go. The city center is easily reached by metro. To get back in the evening, be aware that after 2223 there’s no metro but you have to take the bus N3 which leaves from plaza de ayuntamiento. That’s it. Have fun!”

“The accommodation consists of one large room with two double beds and a dining area for four. The kitchen is very small with only a two burner gas stove plus a microwave but no other oven. We cooked a couple of nice meals but ate out most of the time. The pool was available but the weather in October wasn’t really hot enough to use it (although we did swim in the sea which was warmer). It was very pleasant to sit outside on the terrace though. The supermarket Consum in Riba-Roja had a good range of food and we enjoyed the fresh orange juice from the machine. For a good value meal try the €11 menu at the Bar Restaurant Asador Hostalers. This is mostly used by trucks drivers as it is the middle of an industrial estate but we couldn’t have been made more welcome. You will need a car as the property is fairly remote. We hired a car at the airport but first we bought a metro card for €11. Parking in Valencia is difficult or expensive so we parked for free at La Presa and took the metro into town (€1.04 each way but you need a card because you can’t buy a ticket at La Presa)”
