There are beautiful routes and you can easily jump in a canoe or enjoy a terrace in the lively Hanseatic town of Ommen. • The Veluwe is the largest push moraine complex in the Netherlands. On the north-western edge of this forest you find this gazebo near the locally famous sand drift. It sits on 3 acres of woodland belonging to a detached house. • The gazebo is fully insulated and consists of three spaces: bathroom, bedroom and lounge. There is no cooking option, but there is a small oven for you to use. • The gazebo was fully renovated in 2023 and is decorated in a contemporary mid-century modern style.

Kampeerbungalow De Westlander

De kampeerbungalow is een eenvoudig ingerichte overnachtingsplek voor maximaal 4 personen en bevat een tweepersoonsbed (2 matrassen van 80 cm), een eenpersoonsbed en er is een extra bed in het woonvertrek te plaatsen. De slaapvertrekken zijn door middel van een houten tussenwand van elkaar gescheiden. De bungalow is gemaakt van hout en heeft een dak gemaakt van dik (vrachtwagen) zeil zodat u ook tijdens de wat vochtigere dagen heerlijk droog in deze accommodatie kunt verblijven.

The warmth comes from both the cozy complete rooms and the pellet stove/outdoor fireplace. For optimal enjoyment, bicycles, good WiFi, high chair and games/books are available. This makes the forest house very suitable for families who want to enjoy a comfortable stay. Due to the location, we do not rent to young people/groups of friends.

This unique home was built under architectural design and guidance. Rural location on the edge of forest and sand drift. The Veluwemeer is within cycling distance. Culture and culinary experiences are plentiful in the area. Downstairs, everything is on the ground floor. People with physical disabilities are also welcome. (Help from the host, is possible based on availability. He is a nurse) Pets are not allowed (except for service dogs). No parties! No smoking in the house.

In the middle of the beautiful Vechtdal Overijssel, you will find our beautifully restored farmhouse from 1576. The farm is a National Monument and located on an old farmyard of over 20,000 m2. Organic fruits and vegetables are grown in the yard. There are horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats and many more wild animals. In short: a place for people and children who want to embrace the real outdoors and discover the beautiful area!
