Truly an amazing experience at Thomas’s house. It embodies the spirit of a typical, authentic and cozy norwegian hytte with everything you need, add to that the view over the fjords and the sauna in the backyard and you’ll feel like in a Hallmark movie during Christmas. We also saw the Northern Lights from the cabin 2 nights in a row. The communication with the hosts was very easy and efficient. I truly recommend it to anyone loving nature, peace and quiet :)

We felt right at home at Guntars. The apartment is beautiful and equipped with every comfort, beautiful window with a view and the bus stop below the house is very comfortable. A very sociable cat lives in the house who kept us company for 3 days. Everything was perfect!

Kjersti's place is extremely cozy. It has everything you need to spend a few days or more. The place may be a little far from the cities but if you are looking for calm it's perfect, I recommend it!

Nina's home is wonderful. Great location for Tromso and surrounding area. Good size for 4 of us staying as a family. Spotlessly clean and everything you'd expect and more. A local guide left for us along with a small welcome treat. Communication with Nina was fast and clear. Check in was smooth with a coded lockbox. Cannot recommend Nina's house enough for a calm and cosy getaway to the beautiful area of Tromso. Upon arrival, the house was lovely and warm which was very welcomed as it was -2 degrees outside. Views across water over to Tromso island was stunning with mountains in the background. Local supermarket only a few mins walk away with easy bus connections. We drove a hire car and could park right outside. This place was a great find and if we come back to Tromso, we'd happily stay here again.

Amazing home and location! The property was beautiful and spacious, Trygve made sure we had everything we needed. He kept in touch prior to our arrival to make sure we were welcomed properly. Thanks again!

Roar and Mona were very kind, friendly, responsive and helpful. They went out of their way to answer our questions and help us enjoy our holiday. The views from the balcony are stellar. The beds and bedding were great and we slept well. The communal space is sociable, bright and comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.

Incredibly nice and cozy place. Cozy and incredibly helpful hosts. Always responded quickly to messages and found things if we were missing. Jacob's place was amazing with a supermarket literally 1 min away to get anything that's needed and everything in a 10/15 minutes distance by car. The place was just like home and cozy, super responsive and an amazing host.

We had a fantastic stay at Christine's! We traveled with our 2 year old baby, and upon arrival the crib and high chair were already set up which made our lives much easier. The apartment is superb, with a great view. Christine was very responsive and available for all our questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this apartment!

Perfect stay in Harstad. Amazing view from the apartment and city center in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

Karsje’s place is just amazing in one word. The place is so cozy offering amazing views of Tromso. The space was perfect for 5 of us including our 5 year old son. The house had a well structured instruction manual so that we didn’t have to bother the host a lot, but still they were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils so that you could cook without any hassle. There is a car parking available and also the bus stop is just a 10 minutes walk from the house. Just keep in mind that the house in a quite neighbourhood a bit away from the city, so you will have to travel a bit to find restaurants and supermarkets ( 10 minutes with a car or 15-20 minutes with bus). We enjoyed the stay a lot and would recommend it to anyone who visits Tromso.

We had a wonderful time at Ingrid's house and felt like at home. The apartment is very homely and comfortably furnished and is in a super location in Tromsø. Ingrid was very helpful and gave us many good tips about the area. The equipment is as described, it has everything you could want. Many thanks, Ingrid, we'd love to come back!

Quaint, quiet and beautiful!

Our stay with Odd-Geir was truly fantastic! The house was cozy and made us feel like we were right in the heart of the Arctic. We enjoyed the grill house and the sauna—both added a special touch to our experience. Odd-Geir lent us his car during our stay, which was incredibly helpful. One of the highlights was going fishing with him on his boat—an unforgettable adventure! He’s a genuine host who absolutely enhanced our experience in Tromvik. Highly recommended!

Kvalöya Lodge is one of the nicest places we've ever had and Ketil is the nicest and most caring host you can imagine. We especially enjoyed the view of the fjord, the evening fireplace, the northern lights and Ketil's tips (Husky tour with Active Tromsö, reindeer herds (they like carrots by the way), Sommaröy, Eidel Handel (great supermarket for self-catering), Söstrene Kafé in Tromsvik). We ended up with a lot of snow - fortunately the country road is well cleared 24/7. Snowshoes and spikes are at guests' disposal.

This house was absolutely amazing in every way. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We felt like home from the first minute. Ingvar is such a friendly host and communication with him was easy. You can feel that he normally lives there, the place is so cosy. We also loved the hot tub! Since it is outside of the city the sky is really dark and we could see the northern lights from our porch on three days in a row! The kitchen is perfectly well equippec and we cooked most of our meals there. We would definitively return to Ingvars house.

Terrific base in Tromso. It's in a quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer much more than living in the city center. The house is quite large and very well furnished, and feels very homey and warm. Loved the open plan kitchen and living room where we could prepare meals, relax, and keep an eye out from the balcony windows for signs of an aurora borealis. Hope to have a chance to come back in the future :)

We spent 3 wonderful days in Anders' place: the peace, the location and the wood-fired hot tub make this place amazing!

Beautiful place to stay. Plenty of space, clean and very comfortable beds. It had everything we needed. Very easy communication with the host, very accommodating.
