In the middle of the nature of the eastern Elbe valley you will find peace and relaxation. On the terraces and the large courtyard, you can enjoy the sun or sit in large circles by the bonfire. Direct neighbour is a family-run inn where you can stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the next village there is a large rustic brewery.

Our three one-room apartments — Ahorn, Linde, and Birke — combine the historic charm of Herbsthausen with contemporary design. Each apartment is completely unique and has been modernized by us. They offer space for two to three people each. The apartments are part of “Herbsthausen”, an cultural project in the town of Gartow. We are renovating a historic sawmill and transforming it into a future-oriented place for art, industrial heritage, living, working, international exchange, and relaxation.

In unserem Obstgarten steht ein Bauwagen! Ein Ort für Menschen, die für einen Moment aus dem Alltag aussteigen möchten. Wer mag, kann Tieren begegnen, sie beobachten oder einfach Teil dieses Ortes sein. Kinder sind hier ebenso willkommen. Sie dürfen Natur entdecken, Tiere kennenlernen und erleben, wo Eier herkommen. Unsere Gemeinde ist ein „Ruhiges Gebiet“ nach § 47d Bundesimmissionsschutzgesetz, d.h. es gibt keinen Verkehrs-, Industrie-, Gewerbe- und Freizeitlärm. Hier ist es wirklich ruhig!

The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

In winter, it is heated with wood and briquettes and it quickly becomes cozy and warm. Fluent cold water is available in the wagon only in the frost-free time! Horses can be brought, 1 ha. Hier könnt ihr euch nach Ankunft vor dem Haus entspannen und dem Himmel bei seinem bunten Farbenspiel zuschauen. Ruhe ist hier garantiert. Typische Geräusche sind hier die Eulen am Abend und die Trecker am Morgen. Auch Reh, Hase, Fasan oder Storch kommen oft vorbei.

The light-flooded tiny house has 2 sleeping places with TV in the "upper deck." 2 more people can stay on a pull-out couch. There is a well-equipped kitchen and under the walnut tree you can linger and relax on a 20 sqm terrace with a grill.
