Old Water Mill

Old water mill, built in 1850. Many of the original features of the mill have been left & been used to create a place of charm & character. Situated on a twelve acre lake, within a listed & protected zone by Natura 2000. You can eat your breakfast on the terrace next to the lake, in a very beautiful & tranquil setting. The only noise here comes from the birds, wildlife & the sheep in the surrounding fields. Owner lives on site in adjacent farm house. Many local bars & excellent restaurants.

La Petite Grange

A lovely hidden gem of a property in a quiet hamlet just 4km / 2.5 miles from the beautiful riverside town of Confolens with it's shops, cafes, and restaurants. With a lovely private garden, it is totally wheelchair accessible with a roll-in shower, ramps, and private level parking. . A beautifully presented house offering luxury cotton bedding, cotton bath sheets and L'Occitane toiletries. Gite La Maison du Passeur

Close to Circuit du Val de Vienne, this well-equipped, historic cottage in a quiet location for up to six guests has views over the river and countryside. Three bedrooms - a large master and two further adjoining rooms - plus a sofa bed in the living room. Please note, there are some low doorways and internal steps. Availles-Limouzine, a charming village on the Vienne river, has a bakery, a butcher, a general store and a weekly market. You will also find several restaurants and cafe/bars.

In the living room you will find the table where you can savor the dishes cooked in the equipped kitchen located next door. Ideal setting for athletes and/or families who want to enjoy nature and animals: Horses, sheep, chickens are present on the property.

Check-in to the listing is scheduled after 2 p.m. and checkout is scheduled for the morning at 11 a.m. at the latest so that cleaning can be done.
