Raven's Crossing - Kate's Cottage

CaitlinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. Thanks Lori!

Amazing view, eagles, hot tub, 1 mi walk from Bath

AlecRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Woolwich. There is a peaceful nature vibe to the house and a beautiful view and location. The Bald Eagles live in a tree right on the edge of the backyard and were visible numerous times during our stay. The location to various towns and locations in Maine is convenient.

Modern Tree Dwelling w/Water Views+Cedar Hot Tub

BenRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This place is magical. The location is outstanding. So incredibly private yet so close to Bath/ route 1 as well as Reid state park. Perfect little base camp for your mid coast adventures. We hit Georgetown pottery, diner in bath, Reid sp, the Alna store & an oyster tasting in Phippsburg. The treehouse itself was amazing. Thoughtfully designed. All the modern amenities of a cabin. It was perfect. Being in the hot tub overlooking the river I could feel all of the stress leaving my body. Oufff… I wish I was still there. Also the sweetest owners/ hosts. Every little detail thought of. 10/10 would 100% come again.

Clarks Cove Farm - Orchard Apartment

PeggyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We want to stay here now every time we go to Maine! The setting is so beautiful and peaceful and our suite was bright and airy and rustic. Tim was such a kind host and it felt like a home away from home. Checked so many boxes for beauty and escape. Don’t hesitate to stay here!!

Maine Stowaway Cottage/Your Year-Round Destination

RuthyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a fantastic stay at Luanne's! The house is in a good location, about 10 min to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The property is beautiful with a great view of the water. The bedroom and bathroom setup worked well for us, since most bedrooms had access to its own bathroom. Everything was clean, appliances and grill worked. Luanne was very responsive to any questions and issues. Renters should note that there is a guest cottage/converted garage on the property, just about 15 feet away from the main house, and this cottage is also rented out. The property is essentially shared between the two houses. It did not become an issue during our stay, but we were cognizant that there may be another car coming up the driveway when the dogs and kids were out in the yard and it did make the property feel less private. Overall, would recommend Luanne's for a great stay close to Boothbay.

The Nest was perfect for our needs for us and our daughter's family. Snug, with a beautiful view, great walks, and a beautiful little beach close by that was perfect for a 2 1/2 year old. So lovely in October. Thank you, Dave and Betsy for your hospitality!

East Side Cove by Sea Maine

VanessaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
OH my Goodness!!! This house is amazing!! We've been visiting the Maine coastline for 23 years and have always stayed in different houses for a new adventure. This house makes me want to stay at the same place for our next trip. Being right near the footbridge was a huge plus. We gathered sea glass and adventured out into the cove at every low tide and found tons of treasures. We cooked a huge Sunday meal in the house on Sunday night and I found the kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials. (we did bring our own spices, we are foodies). It is not modern or fancy but rather cozy and comforting. We felt right at home. We walked over the footbridge and into town many times. It's the perfect home base for a Boothbay or Maine vacation.

Walk to Beach, Port Clyde Village & Lighthouse

TraceyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our extended family gathered at Gwen's place to celebrate my Dad, who recently passed away. He and my mom had spent many years in the area so we wanted to be all together in a place he loved. Although the trip wasn't long, we had a lovely time at Gwen's place. It was cozy and comfortable and super clean. There were 9 of us and plenty of space for us all. The double staircases were a neat feature, separating the sleeping areas. The house is a short walk from the Marshall Point Lighthouse and Port Clyde village. On our first night, we walked a couple minutes down the street to the Black Harpoon, which was a great local spot with a fun atmosphere and tasty food. I would definitely recommend Glen's place and am grateful for the memories we shared and made over the weekend.

DanielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
It was a snowy, wintery wonderland during my visit. The cabin was cozy as can be, Elia was super-responsive & friendly, the area was perfectly private. I will be back often, it was exactly what I’ve been looking for in a repeat adventure home base. Thank you for allowing my pups & I to experience your family’s cabin!

Maine-Coast Reunions & Retreats: Studio/Dock/Pets

AmandaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed at Jonathan’s place for my bachelorette trip to Maine and it was absolutely perfect for a quiet ladies weekend with beautiful surroundings. The house had nearly everything we needed, and everything we weren’t able to bring or find at the house could easily be purchased at the nearby Fales Store that Jonathan recommended. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked and we had more than enough blankets, towels, etc. to accommodate 11 women. Jonathan’s place provided a halfway point between Portland and Acadia National Park where we spent part of our weekend in peak fall color. It’s also a short 30min drive from Camden Harbor where we chartered a sailboat before coming back to a cozy fire in the wood burning fireplace and a gas firepit in the backyard. The house had plenty of space for all of us to sleep and to socialize. Jonathan was very responsive at check-in and check-out. We felt so welcome - 10/10 would recommend, we had an incredible weekend!

Spectacular Oceanfront Home!

TimothyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This place was amazing! We fully understood that this was an older home and did not expect perfection, but the owner clearly tries to maintain a very nice living environment. This literally fit our expectation of a true "Maine" experience. The house was perfect for our large group, and we are so glad that we selected this home as our choice. Not one person in our group had a single complaint. There was plenty of room to spread out, lots of bedrooms, enough bathrooms so that we never had lines waiting to get in and a pleasant surprise to find personal sinks in nearly every room! The kitchen was large and well equipped for a larger group of people. The views are stunning, and the amenities provided such as kayaks, pool table and more kept everyone entertained through the entire trip. The owner was amazing as she included tips for the area, detailed instructions for the home and was very responsive. We would absolutely stay there again and would recommend this location to all!

Brookings Bay Breeze

TrishRating, 5 stars42 months ago
If you're looking for a respite with a small town feel and a farmhouse charm, Brookings Bay Breeze is perfect. Three households of my family spent a week capping off the summer. We loved everything about the property and the proximity to Bath is ideal! We visited the Maritime Museum and had great ribs at Beale Street Barbeque. Sandra is a great host. The house was clean and well stocked. We needlessly purchased items that were already provided. It truly felt like a second home. We look forward to returning. Thank you Sandra!

Serenity, Privacy, Clean and Bright

PaulaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The location was peaceful but close enough to town and hiking trails. We liked having a garage to pull into and then allow our dog to go right upstairs. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to eat breakfast in. Although we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Joy in person, she was easy to reach and responded to texts and emails quickly. Our stay was too short. Wish we could have stayed longer and spent more time in Damariscotta.

Waterfront Guest House on the Maine Coast

AlenaRating, 5 starstoday
Dorothy and Normand were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They provided us with a charming, well-maintained, and private space that was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. They even went above and beyond by helping clear snow off our car! I’m so grateful for the experience and thrilled that our paths crossed. Highly recommend! Ils sont aussi francophones et ont beaucoup des livres français. C’était un très relaxant voyage!

Rustic Cabin on Maine Farm

BruceRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Pattie and Chris were a delight! Chris meet us at the gate and showed us around the cabin, returned with hot tea and an engaging conversation about wool (we are from Aotearoa, NZ and have a background in the world-of-wool) and other like minded topics. The cabin is cute, well lite (off the gid) and plenty of blankets for the cooler temperatures.
