This home has a solar system to provide back-up power durring loadshedding. The system is also connected to battery back-up for +/- 2 hours when there is no sun. We have recently installed solar panels and battery-backup to cope with the loadshedding as well as a large water storage tank for water outages Snug cozy contained room has a double bed, kitchenette with two gas plates and bathroom with a shower. It's not the biggest space (23,5 square metres) but has almost everything you need for a stay in one of Johannesburg's beautiful old tree-lined suburbs. The area is safe and close to the train.

Our cottage is located in Northcliff, JHB. The central location makes for easy access wherever you want to go- with Uber always only a few minutes away. There is a double room with en-suite bathroom, lounge and self catering kitchen with doors that lead into a private garden. Guests have their own private access and parking onsite. We have solar panels with a backup battery, so load shedding will not affect your stay.
