The nearest larger town is Scheßlitz and can be reached in a few minutes by car. There are many shopping opportunities and a few restaurants or restaurants. You can take several hiking trails from the property. E.g. to the Giechburg or the Gügel. Bamberg is also only a 15min drive away. The place is great. The house and garden are very well maintained. A barbecue and also a fire pit are present. You have your peace and enjoy the view. The hosts are very friendly and helpful! If we are drawn to this spot in Germany again, we will be happy to book again!

We had an absolutely fantastic girls' weekend in this charming Airbnb! The place was not only cozy and inviting, but also perfect for our group. We loved the lovingly furnished rooms and the well-equipped kitchen – it was the perfect place to cook and relax together. The atmosphere was just great, and we made a lot of nice memories. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

We stayed two nights at Angelina's place. The place is exactly as described, very clean, new and quiet. Angelina provided a crib for our 9 month old daughter. The property is very suitable for hiking or taking a trip to Bamberg. Angelina was there at check-in, the family lives in the house and is very nice and responsive at all times. If we are in the area again, we will be happy to come back!

This was our favorite Airbnb of all time! The apartment was adorable, the host was friendly and accommodating, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. There were little touches everywhere—from the adorable autumn decor to some complimentary locally brewed German beers in the fridge—to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Hospitality is a big deal in the southern United States where I’m from, but if it’s a bigger deal anywhere else it’s certainly Germany! Our host, Rochus, was flexible with some scheduling changes we had to make shortly before checkin, he met us personally to show us around the unit, he communicated with us throughout our stay, and he was responsive to our questions. We loved everything about our visit here, and if I return to Bamberg in future I will definitely rebook. It was so nice to come home to this lovely little space each day after visiting family and sightseeing . Highly recommend! Thank you, Rochus and family, for the wonderful accommodations!
