If you are looking for a larger room, we also have the Suite@Brook Garden Lodge adjacent to the Annex with a few added extras, but due to Airbnb Algorithm appears down the list when searching for places in Barry. Due to the rooms being in same location, you won’t be aware unless you zoom in on the annex price.

A completely self-contained annex-come-studio in our garden with access from the rear. It has everything you need for a short stay in Cardiff and is very close to lovely parks, cafes, restaurants and shops and is 25 mins walk or ten mins bus ride to town - the bus stop is right behind the annex. It is suitable for a couple, two friends (there's a pull-out single bed in the living area) or a couple with a child. We converted our garage during lockdown and created this unique and cosy space.

Original site of Mrs Pratchetts Sweetshop in Roald dahl's autography "Boy." This historic 19th century, listed property is designed as a home away from home to accommodate large groups for family gatherings, stag/hen do's, weddings etc. Situated in a quaint area not far from Llandaff Cathedral, Llandaff Meadow and the river Taff, as well as a number of family run pubs, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Just a 40 minute walk, 20 minute bus or £10 taxi to Cardiff City Centre.

We are on the Taff Trail for walks and hikes, it's a 15 minute bike ride into town or an 8 minute train journey to the centre. Great restaurants nearby and Lidls is around the corner for essentials. 1 mile from University Hospital Wales. Great location. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, but close to major routes and motor ways.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cozy, self contained, 1 bed cottage sits snugly between the original farmhouse and is an annex to The Old Byre (originally the cowshed). As part of a Grade II Listed Building, it offers up lots of history and charm, including late medieval arches, echoes of its past as a priory.
