Monthly Rentals in Loch Gleann Dubh

Claire sent a message almost straight away after booking to let me know about the accommodation and location. The instructions to get there were really clear, even though it’s a very remote location. Got to a comfortable, cosy and warm ‘home’ after a day’s hiking - couldn’t ask for me. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery for a nice home cooked meal. Also provided fresh milk for coffee in the morning! WiFi (inc smart TV) could be a little slow but this was explained beforehand but wasn’t too noticeable. Sheigra beach is well worth a visit (no more than 15mins away!), and the walk to Sandwood Beach is great. Thank you so much Claire for a wonderful place to stay for 2 nights!

Had a lovely stay at Carol and Alec’s place. Was concerned that the twin beds that made a king would have been split down the middle but a king mattress topper was perfect! So cosy! What a peaceful break to get away from hustle and bustle of Glasgow. Carol and Alec were great hosts and super helpful. Brilliant recommendation of the Bone Caves. Place was warm n cosy and we felt right at home. Had everything we needed! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

What a wonderful week! I went to Culkein/Assynt for the express purpose of getting away from the overwhelming excesses of London life, and I succeeded, thanks in no small part to Karen and Iain’s pod. The pod is beautifully situated with an uninterrupted view of the coast, waves breaking over rocks, fields of sheep. The place is easy to locate, and Karen was proactive in providing easy-to-follow directions. The pod itself has everything you’d want or need and is extremely comfortable. Culkein is a great location if you’re looking to hike nearby Suilven, go on walks or just relax on the deck and stare out to the sea. I have nothing but high recommendations based on my experience, and I have every intention of returning to the region - it’s stunning.

Wonderful cabin! it had everything we needed after being on the road for a few days. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings! We wished we could have stayed longer or even relaxed a little longer in the area. Would definitely recommend this location and would book again in the future!
