House vacation rentals in Long Island

Stunning location, great people - we ended up staying in the Flamingo house which was amazing. Loved the natural pools and the resort pools. Beach was gorgeous. Views hard to believe. Bar food was great and our waitress Shanelle was awesome. Love Beach was just down the road and very nice also. Snorkeled at the rock pools. Beds are older and decor is dated however space and decks were very nice. Resort food was good however a bit pricey for our budget, found some great takeaways just down the road. Met some really great people - had fun at the resort rum punch party. Drove to the Stella Maris lot at the cape (they also provide a shuttle), cabanas were taken up but the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen! Only negative is I didn’t notice until we arrived that power was extra on top of the nightly price (fine print).

HIGHLY recommend this resort for families getting to know the island AND return visitors. This island is truly a gem, and the resort is perfectly situated in the northern part of the island to relax, explore and connect with your loved ones! The Flamingo House is a great home for large groups that want the convenience of a resort, with the privacy of a house. We'll definitely be back for: the 4 large bedrooms, open living space, and the prime location next to the saltwater pool - with a direct path from your porch to the most amazing swimming experience! Freshwater pool is a plus and also closeby. The staff deserves 10 stars for cooking our fresh catch 2xdaily, the best drinks at the Moonshine bar (house has private path to it), and staying open later for us after a day of exploring. Would only dock a half star for the screen doors that were tough to open, AC upgrades needed in 1-2 bedrooms, and some necessary renovations, but nothing I wouldn't expect in the Bahamas!

We had a great stay at Rainbow house. Bedroom set ups were perfect for our guests. Great location at Stella Maris, close to the airport and we were able to explore the island.

The White House was the perfect getaway for my family of 5. Located in Stella Maris, you have access to the beaches and the pool on site. Emma was friendly and responsive from the day of booking all the way to the departure day, making sure we were comfortable and were aware of the local attractions. Check in was easy and the house itself is very spacious with a well equipped kitchen and air conditioning throughout the house. The views from the second floor were also great. The kids room downstairs was an added bonus to have the kids play, watch TV and just relax. We really enjoyed our stay at the White House and definitely recommend this home when visiting Long Island.

Another amazing stay with Jill at Stella Maris! Long Island has been a favorite haunt for years and Stella Maris has quickly become my favorite place to stay. Jill is always incredibly accommodating and communicative. She was an absolute god send this trip when my elderly in-laws and our 2 young children had a flight hiccup in Nassau. She went out of her way to help us make sure they got here the same day and were able to enjoy the vacation. She was equally as helpful and accommodating when we needed additional transport, set us up with great activities for the whole family, and made sure we had another amazing trip to Long Island!

Great location within the Stella Maris Resort area, very on theme gecko house. Everything is as in the photos and the oceanfront view is just as great as the hosts.

The stay was very spacious and accommodating. Jill was very responsive and communicated very well. We will book our stay with her again.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa de Bahamas for a full week and absolutely loved everything about the trip and the house! The space is very roomy and could easily fit more people. The house is conveniently located ~20 minutes from the Stella Maris Airport and a short drive to the grocery store and other popular destinations on the island. The home itself is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, towels, bugspray, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties). The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We were blown away by the beach and the natural beauty of the outdoor space. The island itself is very quiet and you practically have the beach to yourself - it's a perfect spot to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle. We met many ocean friends including, starfish, sea turtles and a stingray! A few things not noted: - The outdoor space has a firepit that included a bundle of firewood - the stars at night were the best we have ever seen! - Dmitri connected us with a rental car option about a week before our trip which was very convenient - highly recommend renting a car, be sure to bring cash to pay for the car rental. - The island and the home are surrounded by natural beauty and with that comes outdoor friends - sand mites at dawn and dusk, we also ran into small scorpions outside. We didn't have a problem with bugs indoors and the house is stocked with bug spray. - The flowers and bird feeders bring around tons of hummingbirds which was a lovely surprise. - The pool is deeper than we thought and is a saltwater pool which we liked. We highly recommend Casa de Bahamas and can't wait to return!!!

This was our family’s second trip to Long Island and our second time staying at Atil’s. We loved every minute of our time on the island and at Atil’s home. The location of this house is truly perfect…it’s amazing to be able to walk to Dean’s Blue Hole. The house also includes so many wonderful additions like a kayak, clear kayak, and beach chairs. Our three boys (1, 3, and 6) love the closet full of toys, playing in the yard, and running up and down the giant veranda. It’s a perfect house for a family! Atil is an incredibly generous and attentive host. He truly tries to take care of the people who stay at his house. Thank you, Atil, for another wonderful trip! We can’t wait to return!

Amazing home on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the gorgeous ocean. Private beach along with private gazebo with hammock! We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. Darren and Angie, Canada

Janice's house was exactly what we were looking for--quiet, peaceful, gorgeous setting, ane comfortable beds. Janice was always responsive and recommended a great fishing guide (Yan Turnquest!) and restaurants (go to Max's conch bar and he will cook your fish). We walked on the beach for 5 hours one day and didn't see anyone! There is a beautiful cove just south of the house protected by the reef that is great for swimming. I highly recommend Janice's house--it has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay where you can get away from it all.

This is a great home with everything you need on the north part of the island. The home is comfortable with AC in each bedroom. The location is very private and you essentially have a beach to yourself given how quiet it is on the island. We didn’t see anyone on our part of the beach across a couple days.

Brad was an excellent host. His home is in excellent condition. My family and I plan to visit again in the near future and we will stay at Brad’s place! We truly enjoyed our time together at his home. We highly recommend Brad. Having a vehicle was also important while on island. Brad thank you for thinking of everything. We will see you soon!
