Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Long Island

Excellent place to stay! Everything was clean, modern and it’s centrally located mid island making it easy to get to all the beautiful places Long Island has to offer! Restaurants and groceries were minutes down the road (including a Farmer’s Market). Cheryl was a Fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. Our mornings were spent with a cup of coffee walking the grounds admiring all of the beautiful flowers before we started our day touring the island. Evenings were spent back at Cheryl’s relaxing in the hammock or adirondack chairs by the beach watching the sunset. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

It was the first time my family and I visited Long Island. We met Docky and Jill and they made us feel at home from the very beginning. Starting from the simplest details of providing, coffee, tea, bug spray, baby oil for mosquitoes to the more complex like taking time out to direct us everywhere on the entire island. The home is equipped with all of the basics even some cooking seasonings. The yard is big and has a beautiful huge tamarind trees. a nice gazebo, grill and the house hilltop view was spectacular. We had true privacy and the neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves. We never saw them..You definitely will need a car to get around especially to restaurants and grocery shopping. It’s located to the very northern tip of the island. The busiest settlement is 45 minutes to the south. We will be back again and will be delighted to book with Bonafide fishing house again. We didn’t do any fishing with Docky because of the rain. We came as visitors and left feeling like locals.

This is a beautiful and private location. We very much enjoyed each morning with mimosas on the small table overlooking the beach. House was well stocked, there were things either left by other guests or the owners keep their own things here, not sure which one. Lounge chairs were comfortable. A grill but it did show up mid trip, that will be a nice amenity for future guests. Food at nearby Harbor Breeze Villas was very good. Be aware of bug bites on the island. This was our third trip & the most I had ever been affected by them, having to visit Urgent Care as soon as I got home. Do some research and see how you can protect yourself. The only downside of this property for us was the amount of cameras outside that faced the patio doors. We felt like it slightly invaded our privacy. I completely understand owners of rental properties needing to keep an eye on their home, but out of respect for guests with good reviews I feel the cameras could be turned off during their stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in the rental. The home is well furnished, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings on the patio. The central location of the home is perfect for exploring the entire island. Todd was a wonderful host and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My wife and I can’t wait to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Wild Dilly - the cottage was superbly built with outside porch, hammock, loung chairs, access to swimmable water, sandy bottom, lots of gorgeous fish, sunsets were amazing! While our hosts were available when we needed them our stay was private and super quiet.

Beautiful spot on a secluded cove with very few neighbors. Centrally located to allow access to the north and south of the island. Close to the best grocery and several good restaurants. Near the government dock and gas station for easy access. The cove is perfect for snorkeling safely on the Atlantic side. You can hike fantastic, rugged coasts to the north and south. The large covered porch was wonderful for relaxing and to get a break from the sun (or occasional rain). Grab your cup of coffee and relax on the porch to watch the sunrise or the beautiful dark skies at night. Watch out for the hermit crabs, they are all around and were quite entertaining. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Prepare to bring or buy essentials as everything is quite expensive to get to the island. Cold bottled water provided. We fell in love with Long Island and will definitely be back. Enjoy your slice of paradise!

My family stayed at Tangerine Sunsets Santa Maria for a glorious week and couldn'thave been happier! The home was immaculate and had most everything we could want in a rental. The beach is one of the best in the Bahamas and we enjoyed walking on it many sunrises and sunsets, as well as swimming out front and snorkeling the small coral head on the south end of the beach. There is also a great gazebo with three chaise loungers that was heaven to relax under with a Pina colada! The house was super clean and well stocked. One thing that wasn't there was a baking sheet. When I inquired with the caretaker, Jimmy, he went out and bought one for the house so I could bake some cookies. Jimmy was very helpful and found us some local eggs, guava jam, and pineapples, as well as bread his wife baked for us to purchase. Jimmy was great! Renters should be aware that house is remote and at almost the end of a long, potholed dirt road. There isn't a lot nearby (except for Cape Santa Maria Resort) in terms of restaurants and the closest grocery store is at least a 20 minute drive. We liked the privacy and spent lots of time at home, so this wasn't a problem for us. There are two other rental units on the property, but they weren't occupied during our stay, so we had the whole place to ourselves which was fabulous. I highly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if and when we return to Long Island!

The house was perfect for our group, we were doing volunteer work and it was a great place to cook meals and spend time together. The view is great with the sunset right over the water. We did have to contact the host a couple of times and they got right back with us. The first day no water pressure upstairs but they fixed it, also remember this is an island and you are not going to get the same kind of place as you would in the US. The internet was good, also remember power is 8 times as expensive as the US so they really trying to limit use of the A/C because of the huge cost. We would stay here again, and it was a great experience overall
