Family-friendly vacation rentals in Longview

Great place to stay in when in Ashford! I rented few cabins there already and this one was my favorite. So well equipped with everything you may need. It was clean and comfy.

This place is a gem, for sure! What really stood out to us was that the house felt loved and cared for, in all the best ways. The garden was charming with its ponds and gazebo, and both house and yard made excellent use of space and felt much larger than the square footage would imply. Tabor Bread was an easy walk away and its pastries were delightful. There were many other restaurants in walking distance too. Dallas was an extremely responsive host and made us feel right at home. We would gladly stay here again!

Awesome place! We really enjoyed our stay at Malcolm’s place. The house is beautiful and it feels like home, the TVs on every room and the living room are very convenient, the internet is great, our children really enjoyed the pool table. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Malcolm was very attentive and really easy to talk to. We had a really great time.

The place was well appointed and lovely. The surroundings were gorgeous! Had a great long weekend there and took advantage of the hot tub, fireplace and steps down to the river.

We had a wonderful stay in their home. We were in the area for work for the week and had plenty of room for three grown men. Their neighborhood was quiet, and we slept well each night. The communication the whole time we were there was well beyond expectation as well.

⸻ 5 stars! We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The property was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The hot tub was a definite highlight for the adults — perfect for unwinding in the evenings under the stars. Our kids had an absolute blast with the trampoline, which was a great touch and kept them entertained for hours. The host was responsive and made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing place to stay!

What a fantastic experience! Melissa is a great host and I could not ask for a better AirBNB. The home was very cute and for me and my girlfriend felt like our own little apartment! It’s got a lot of charm! The only thing that happened was the power went out while we were making dinner, but it was an easy fix! Thank you!

This was the most cutest and much needed retreat. Shelley communicated very well and was available for questions! We will be back. The location was nice and near the water and the cabin was literally perfect. Thank you so much for providing such an amazing spot for us to stay at!

The Art House perfectly met our needs. From the cozy fireplace to the comfy beds, we felt right at home on this mother-daughter time away. Leah was very responsive and provided a clear balance of privacy and friendliness -- respecting our time alone but inviting us to stop by to say hello should we choose :) We're looking forward to returning with the rest of the family.

We had to book this place last minute (day of) as our previous accommodations had cancelled on us. Susan was so easy to work with and was very helpful! Couldn’t have asked for a better saving of the day. The house was very clean, and was perfect for our group of gals. We had 1 guest that is severely allergic to dogs and even though this is a pet friendly house, not once did she have any type of reaction which goes to show just how clean the house was. I would absolutely recommend to a friend!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Susan and Steve's Casita for an extended stay. They are such kind, friendly, and attentive hosts! The Casita is so comfortable and quiet and you can't beat the location. The Alberta Arts District is a vibrant community with excellent restaurants, art galleries, taphouses and cafes within walking distance. Susan and Steve had excellent recommendations for us on places to go in the area. We highly recommend this accommodation for your next trip!!

The place was clean and spacious for the 3 of us and a dog. It is in an older neighborhood, but the house itself is well remodeled. The fenced backyard was very useful for our dog. There are a lot of wineries and the downtown close by. We had a nice dinner at La Rambla and breakfast at Alpine Kitchen. Brielle was very responsive. She even offered to bring over extra bowls for our Christmas dinner.

I had a great experience during my four-night stay at Debra and David's home. The house was truly wonderful, making me feel completely at home. It was evident that the house was filled with beautiful memories. Debra was very helpful and attentive to her guests. All the essential amenities, along with some additional comforts, were readily available—everything you could possibly need was provided.

Diane's airbnb is conveniently located for us to visit our kids and grandkids, and also anyone who has students at Reed College. We love the feel of the neighborhood, and walking around at night is beautiful around Christmas time with lights on houses. Also, I should add, the bed was very very comfortable. Dianne and Michael made us feel welcome!

We absolutely loved this cozy waterfront cottage at Nehalem Bay! Kids especially appreciated all the games, books and toys. I was grateful for the incredibly well stocked kitchen and high quality appliances. It made cooking out meals easy and fun. A highlight of our trip was kayaking over to Riverside Fish n Chips followed by Buttercup ice cream cones. Also highly recommend Wanda’s for brunch. We stayed four nights and already want to come back again!

Our magical vintage trailer getaway was pure cozy bliss! Tucked away in a charming little spot, the rain only made the weekend feel more enchanting. With our pups snuggled beside us, we spent the days playing board games, sipping warm drinks, and listening to the soothing patter of raindrops on the roof. The trailer’s retro charm added to the whimsy, making it feel like we had stepped into a dreamy little hideaway. It was the perfect mix of nostalgia, relaxation, and fun—proof that sometimes, the best adventures happen indoors.

This is a nice and spacious basement apartment of a larger family home located in a beautiful and walkable neighborhood. The owners’ garden is lovely and quiet and there are windows in the apartment for light and fresh air. The shower is powerful and spacious with plenty of hot water. The kitchen had just what we needed, too. Perfect for a couple. Very private and peaceful and walking distance to restaurants. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We have visited many times and continue to find the place and Tracy to be top-notch which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The place checks all of our boxes for a relaxing, romantic getaway.

We had a great stay at Nedra’s place! We loved the walking path in the back next to the river, it was beautiful and peaceful! We also loved the rock band and spent the bad weather day inside relaxing and playing rock band as a family. Something we never do so it was super fun! There was plenty of food places nearby so we took advantage of that as well as cooked breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen! Beautiful location, fully functional house we would definitely love to stay again!

We had a group of women staying for a local horse show at Devonwood. This was a perfect place for us, many beds and bathrooms. The host is amazing, she was easy to work with on our schedule and was so thoughtful. We came in pretty late the first night and she left the lights on for us so we were not struggling with our luggage and trying to find the lights. We found a very stocked kitchen with super sweet surprises. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were also clean with plenty of towels. We were basically only sleeping and eating breakfast there but we all wished we had more down time to enjoy the serene locations and beautiful countryside. This is a perfect location for any group showing at the Devonwood Equestrian Center and Shelley is a wonderful host. We will be back for sure.

Jayme’s place was very convenient for us when we came to Wilsonville to visit our family. Clean nice place and it’s great for us that she shares her house on Airbnb when she is not at home!!

Julie was a generous host. It was a peaceful place for my family to stay and easy for our local family to come for meals and visit. Every morning we had coffee on the large private deck. We sat on the deck some evenings and enjoyed the fresh air and complete lack of mosquitoes. The two full bathrooms for the five of us were essential. We booked this house to have a great place to stay-in and have local family over but it was also close to many things in Portland. The zoo and the science museum were two of them. Julie was responsive to requests and just a very kind person.

We stayed for 5 days at this cute cabin. It was a great home base to easily go find a quick hike and then come back and relax. It was a residential neighborhood, but when you were inside or out on the back deck, it felt very private. At this time of year, during the summer, you can’t really see the river from the house, but you get a view of tall, beautiful trees swaying in the breeze and a beautiful tree covered mountain. Sitting on the deck for morning coffee and evening dinner was our absolute favorite part. The afternoon hours get too hot to be out on the deck, so that was when we went for hikes, stayed inside, read, and played foozball. My boys loved having the video games to play (I took the violent ones out), the air conditioning was awesome, the kitchen was well-stocked, lots of kitchen and bath towels. King bed was so comfortable. There is a loft with 2 beds, one right by the railing, so I wouldn’t recommend having a small child up there. Fooz table was fun! Windows and sliding door could use replacing because it is hard to see out of them and door is so hard to open and close. Place was super cute and we enjoyed our stay very much.
