Enjoy an exceptional 180° view of the Dordogne while swimming in our infinity pool (open May to October only) or hot tub (available all year). Our property sits on 4 acres of tranquil countryside at the top of the verdant Dordogne valleys. Sit back, have a glass of wine, and watch the hot air balloons paint across the sky at sunrise or sunset. Use our bicycles to explore the locale or BBQ outside and take in the scenery.

We offer our guests a lot of peace and space in a beautiful natural historically protected environment (Saut de la Mounine), 3 authentic stone houses from 1885, a private swimming pond, private parking, a large garden, furniture, barbecues, vegetable gardens, a herb garden, and a great view. We are happy to cook for you: breakfast, 3 course menu or a semi-prepared meal ready for you when you arrive. the beach on the river Lot is within walking distance, nice villages and markets to visit.

Au coeur du Périgord noir, venez faire une pause sous les chênes. A la croisée des vallées de la Dordogne, du Lot et de la Vézère, vous trouverez à 2 min, le charmant village de Carlux. Vous disposerez de commerces (épicerie-boucherie et boulangerie) et de loisirs natures à proximité immédiate (Canoës, piste cyclable, randonnées et baignade en bord de Dordogne). De grands centre commerciaux sont à 10 minutes (Sarlat-souillac). Piscine partagée avec un autre gîte de 4-5 pers.

The unique view and complete tranquillity characterise the location and surroundings of the house. From the terrace, you can look out over the valley opposite and the wooded hills that stretch to the far horizon in the west. The sunsets are simply marvellous and leave you speechless. The small house is suitable for 2 people. Three people can also stay here, but then you should know each other well :-).
