“The views from the apartment are just magnificent! The sunset in one direction sets the city aglow in the other and makes it difficult to go back out but there is much to explore so one must venture out! The place is very comfortable and stylishly decorated too! We enjoyed our stay very much. We also loved the suggested restaurants and ate at 2 of them - two ends of the spectrum Mimo for local flare and Refeitro da Baixa for a fabulous meal and both were wonderful! This place does have many stairs as others mentioned and it's way up in the hills above the city but if that's okay with you, then it's a lovely place to stay.”
Fantastic, modern flat in a historical area, part of UNESCO World Heritage. It can easily accommodate four people and is central, very close to Coimbra’s downtown area and the University. Its comfort, quality and easy access to the main points of interest of our city! Private parking is available so you do not have to worry about parking your car in the city center! This is a refurbished apartment, located in Alta of Coimbra, a "UNESCO World Heritage" site and offers a wonderful view of Coimbra and the Mondego River. The apartment will offer you an unique and unforgettable experience.
“We chose Isabel's house to spend 4 days on vacation and get to know the city of Coimbra. Isabel is very friendly and was always readily available for everything we need. We are also grateful for the availability of your brother Nuno. Isabel's house is ideal for those who want to have the experience of living in a typical Coimbra house. It is very well located in the historic area of Coimbra, close to the Old Cathedral, a picturesque place with a Portuguese neighborhood atmosphere. Despite this, it is relatively easy to find a place to park your car and forget about it, because most of Coimbra's attractions are within walking distance of the house and can be visited on foot. We just took the car to go to the forum Coimbra and visit the ruins of Conimbriga. All other places, such as the university area, Quinta das Timas and Portugal dos Pequenitos can be reached on foot. Near Isabel's house there is also no shortage of where to have lunch and dinner, and it is also very easy to prepare meals at the house, given the kitchen is very well equipped. The interior of the house is very pleasant and perfect for a large family or group of friends. The view from the balcony is top! We took some beautiful pictures of the sunset! In short, we recommend Isabel's house 100%.”
