Farmstay vacation rentals in Lucca

Maria Teresa is lovely and so is her home in the countryside! She was very responsive and helpful and assisted wherever we had a need; such as taxi driver recommendations and grocery delivery since we had not rented a car during our time there. The house, gardens, pool and surrounding area are not only beautiful but peaceful and private. Maria Teresa even arranged a cooking class/private dinner at the house for us. I would suggest a car to get around the area since public transportation seems quite limited. We loved our time here!

Leonard and his wife were very kind and welcoming, beginning to end. They were very responsive to our contacts with them and proactive in ensuring we were comfortable and had all we needed. They kindly invited us to join them and the wider family at a homemade pizza party in the garden one evening and later even brought us unexpected sweet treats. The property and it's garden estate were beautiful. We had gorgeous views from 3 sides of our apartment , mountains one way, across the valley another, and over the large garden on the 3rd side. All of the outlooks beautiful. It would be perfectly possible to use taxis and trains to get around the general area though having our own car there was very convenient for shopping and travelling as some attractions and facilities are several miles away. I feel our trip would have been less rich without a car. I'd describe the apartment as comfortable if rustic, but we had all we needed whether cooker, fridge, micro, washing machine etc.

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

J’ai passé un tres bon séjour chez Susanna ! La maison est charmante et propre avec une ambiance chaleureuse qui met tout de suite à l’aise. L’emplacement est idéal, calme tout en étant proche des commodités. Susanna a été une hôte accueillante, réactive et attentionnée. Je recommande vivement son logement et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir.

Un paradis sur terre. Une vue à couper le souffle. Et après votre journée, buvez un verre du très bon vin rouge accompagné du salami de la production familiale de nos hôtes en regardant le soleil se coucher sur la Toscane depuis la terrasse… un emplacement idéal pour rayonner sur toute la région, au calme et à 5 minutes de voiture de Empoli d’où vous pouvez prendre le train ( c’est beaucoup plus simple ) pour Florence ou Pise. Nous vous recommandons vivement les petits déjeuner sur place. Chaque matin il y avait des biscuits, gâteaux, tartes faits maison vraiment délicieux en plus de produits locaux. Et puis nos hôtes ont été incroyablement accueillants, serviables et de bon conseils. Sandra, Antonella Grazie mille ! A bientôt j’espère….

È stata un’esperienza bellissima, in cima a una collina Toscana in uno stabile accogliente e completamente silezioso. Gli host sono gentilissimi e sempre disponibili, gli spazi puliti e come descritti. L’accoglienza con prodotti della casa è stata molto calorosa e i consigli su cosae dove mangiare molto apprezzati. Grazie mille!

Un véritable havre de paix en Toscane ! La maison est belle et bien entretenue, typique de la région, avec un beau jardin et une vue magnifique sur les collines toscanes. Elle est d’une propreté impeccable et parfaitement équipée pour un séjour confortable. L’environnement est calme, idéal pour se reposer tout en étant proche des charmants villages des environs. Mais ce qui rend ce séjour vraiment sympathique, ce sont les hôtes : chaleureux, disponibles et attentionnés. Ils nous ont donné des conseils précieux sur les endroits à visiter et comment se rendre à Florence. Antonio a été très avenant, il nous a prévenu que le jour de notre arrivée était férié et il nous a réservé un restaurant le soir. Grâce à eux, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. Un immense merci pour cette belle expérience — nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Unser Aufenthalt bei Giacomo war sehr schön. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Personen und hatten gut Platz im und um das Haus. Die Küche hatte alles relevante dabei, die Betten sind bequem und der Garten mega gross und schön. Giacomo und seine Eltern sind sehr nette Leute, wir haben sogar einen Kuchen erhalten, welcher sehr sehr lecker war. Giacomo hat uns auch Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und ging auf unsere Bedürfnisse ein. Wir danken Giacomo und seinen Eltern für den schönen Aufenthalt!

This beautifully restored collection of properties gave us the perfect mix of peaceful surroundings with the ability to meet and mix with other visitors from different countries if and when we wanted. Aperitives in the gardens are a must and can be followed by supper with fresh local produce expertly cooked and served by Paolo and Kitty (thankyou). The pool is fantastic, really clean and well maintained with adequate choices of seating and loungers for all. We had a wonderful five night stay and only wished we'd booked longer, I guess that we'll have to return!!

Tutto è andato benissimo. Posto veramente fantastico, ottima vista panoramica, vicinissimo a molte location e città come Volterra e San Gimignano. Alessio che ci attendeva all’arrivo è stato veramente gentile e ci ha dato ottimi consigli che hanno migliorato la qualità della nostra vacanza.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt! Das Airbnb ist recht abgelegen und daher sehr ruhig. Für uns war es ideal. Gerne wieder!

Siamo stati nell’appartamento per una breve vacanza. Gino e Calogera ci hanno assistito come ci si aspetta da dei host preparati e premurosi. Si è respirato tutto il soggiorno un’aria di famiglia. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque di soggiornare in questa Casa, spazi ampi e non manca nulla. La posizione è strategica per chi gli piace visitare i splendidi luoghi toscani.

abbiamo passato il capodanno in compagnia e ci siamo divertiti molto. la casa è bellissima e rispecchia tutte le informazioni. Elizabeth è molto gentile e proattiva per qualunque richiesta o problema. assolutamente consigliato!

Wir waren 3 Nächte hier. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Viele nützliche Informationen für Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Unternehmungen wurden uns von Elisabeth zur Verfügung gestellt . Vielen Dank und alles Gute.

We cannot wait to return! The setting was stunning and the accommodations were luxurious. Our hosts could not have been kinder or more welcoming. One of our top AirBNB’s ever! We also had the chance to participate in one of the farm munches and it was a truly memorable (and delicious) afternoon. Grazie!

הגענו לבית טוסקני מקסים שצופה על נוף מהמם ביופיו. הבית מרוהט בצורה ביתית וחמימה והמטבח מאובזר היטב ויכולנו לבשל לעצמנו ארוחות נהדרות בוילה. החדרים מרווחים ויש מקום לנוע ולאחסן דברים בנוחות הסביבה יפה ובהמלצתם של מארחינו הגענו ליקב נהדר שבו התארחנו לסיור וטעימות. היינו 7 מבוגרים והייתה לנו נוחות ופרטיות. הייתה לנו חוויה נהדרת, ממליצים בחום!

Séjour magique chez Paola. Difficile de décrire en quelques mots toute la gentillesse dont elle a fait preuve avec nous, on s'est tout de suite senti comme chez nous. Paola est venue nous chercher en voiture à la gare et nous a accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin et de la pizza - délicieuse -, difficile d'avoir une meilleure arrivée surtout après un long voyage. Elle a été très proactive tout au long de notre séjour et nous a même emmenés une demi-journée dans le Chianti pour que l'on puisse visiter un vignoble car nous n'avions pas de voiture - nous n'en revenons toujours pas de sa générosité ! Elle est aux petits soins avec tous ses invités et sa propriété est magnifique, nous avons bien profité de la piscine et l'appartement est merveilleusement bien décoré et équipé. Nous recommandons fortement de séjourner chez Paola, la meilleure hôte airbnb que nous ayons eue. Encore merci pour tout Paola, vous avez été merveilleuse, et nous rêvons déjà de revenir ! Arrivederci! :)

The property and surrounding area is beautiful, We loved the estate and especially the pool area. Had a great experience there and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. Exploring the area was fun, especially Pisa and Lucca. Our only issue was finding good food, I guess we had high expectations after visiting Florence. Overall it was a nice stay and the staff was very nice and accommodating.

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad in het prachtige huis van Enrico; het huis, de tuin met zwembad en de ligging zijn nog mooier dan op de foto’s. Enrico reageerde snel en pro-actief, er was ook een beheerder ter plaatse die problemen op kon lossen en dat ook snel deed. Verder lift het huis zo centraal dat je alle toeristische hoogtepunten van Toscane goed kan bereiken met de auto. We hebben het fantastisch gehad en komen heel graag terug!

Lovely stay in Tuscany! Patrizia had started a warming fire going for us in the fireplace upon arrival, as the weather was chilly and rainy. The house was very cozy, artistically decorated, and well appointed -- it made us feel very much at home away from home. Gorgeous views of Tuscany from the bedroom windows, and a well cared for garden which had lemons, rosemary, basil and many flowering plants. Patrizia was the absolute best hostess and provided for all our needs during our stay. There was plenty of room for everybody in the house, and there was even a lovely little kitchen which was fully stocked (salt, pepper, spices, coffee, milk, and more!). Note there is not an oven, but we were able to cook breakfast every day, and even a few dinner meals for our small group in the mini kitchen (there is a mini fridge which fit a lot of perishable food for its size!, and a small induction stove top). Thank you for the perfect stay!

We had an amazing stay at Juri's beautiful villa in Tuscany! The place is super spacious, easily accommodating our group of 11, and it was spotless and very well maintained. Juri and his mom were incredible hosts—always responsive and ready to help whenever we needed anything. The location is also perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. If you're looking for a charming, well-kept and very clean villa with top-notch hospitality, this is the place. Highly recommend! Let me know if you'd like any tweaks!
