A spacious east-facing room offering views of the local countryside and farmland. Rural enough for peace and quiet, but only half a mile from local conveniences (shop, post office) and close to main road networks (A5, M6, M42). The room is on the first floor of our 7-bed semi-detached farm-worker's cottage, currently occupied by 3 family members (plus 2 in the rear annexe). The room features a solid wood wardrobe, desk, double bed and bedroom chair
“Neil was super friendly and everyone there was so accommodating. I managed to lose the key on the first night and he was so easy going about it, really turned what could’ve been a bad situation into not a big deal. Lovely place too, perfect to get out of the business of the major cities. Would stay again.”
A beautifully appointed, modern apartment in the listed Burton Flour Mill development. Amazing river views from the lounge and bedroom. Access to private river gardens, only one mile from Burton town centre, three miles from Repton, 20 minutes to Derby city centre. One double bedroom, one double sofa bed with full size pocket sprung mattress, ideal for families or business use. We also have a nearly identical apartment next door on AirBnB. Please note the low beam in the lounge.
“We took this on for several months, as needed it on a long term basis. The hosts were great, answering us, our many questions through email and telephone calls. The apartment was even better than we thought, with stunning views of the river, the like we have not seen before. It is an idyllic location where it is easy to relax and enjoy, as well as being close to Burton Town. with many good restaurants. With visits from Swans, Ducks, even a Grey Heron on the river only a few metres away, one could gaze out the window for ages just watching the wildlife. As a runner, the route from the apartment to Burton Town along side the river is amazing, making the run so much more pleasurable. Branston gym and pool (Golf club) was first class, not the cheapest, but well worth the extra few quid. The location is also perfect to access the beauty of the Peak district only 30 min drive away. Even on a rainy day, just going for a drive around the Peak district is so nice. Overall we could not find fault with the apartment, location or hosts, great place guys.”
The Coach house is a self contained apartment within a village setting. However it is situated only 5 mins away from the M42 and good road links to all Midlands towns and cities. Netherseal is within The National Forest which allows access to numerous interesting country walks. There are also many attractions close some of them being Calke Abbey, The National Forest, Staunton Harold and Moira Furnace. We provide a welcome pack with fresh bread, milk, juice, cereal selection, eggs and preserves.
“We stayed for two nights, on arrival we were greeted by Lynda, she was very welcoming and gave us good local information as we’ve never been round the area before. She’d made us fresh bread, and left us some eggs from her hens, lovely touches! Although the place is small it’s perfect for two people, it had all the amenities, including sky Q and fast WiFi. Bathroom facilities were very good, the shower was amazing! Lovely little place, would recommend to anyone!”
