Fishing waters, swimming opportunities and ski slopes, a short car trip away. Local culture can be experienced by visiting the Sister churches at Granavollen (11 km), and Hadeland Glassverk (21 km). Shopping center with shopping centers, local shops, restaurants, bakery and wine monopoly in Gran (7 km). The house contains all necessary equipment for self-catering, private bedroom with double bed (160 cm), and bathroom with washing machine.

In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. 2-300m to ski slopes (Nordmarka). 350m to swimming area with diving tower. Great hiking terrain for both walking and cycling, etc. It is about 10 min by car from the train station (Grua). Takes about 1 hour by car from Oslo, and about 1/2 hour by car from Gardermoen. You can go back to Oslo in summer and winter on foot/ski through Nordmarka. (Located about a 5-minute drive from Mylla, where I know many people take the ski bus in the winter.) Hiking terrain and ski slopes in the immediate vicinity (ski slopes to Nordmarka, or drive 10 min to Mylla) - Includes living/dining room, new IKEA kitchen (with induction stove, oven, fridge/freezer), bathroom with combustion toilet and shower, 2 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds. Electric heaters (not wood burning). Duvets and pillows for 5 people, the tenant brings their own bed linen and towels etc.

— ABOUT THE CABIN — We were inspired by The Thief in Oslo. It took two years to build. The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveller. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøsa's natural surroundings. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Well thought out down to the last detail, 30 minutes from Gardermoen.

An hour drive from the house you wil reach the nearest mountains to Oslo, Vikerfjell, a great place for hiking and biking.

Farmhouse for rent

Experience farm life up close. At Kalvsjø farm you can meet horses and go into the rabbits before having breakfast. From the kitchen you have a view of deer and the small birds in the tree, does not get any more idyllic than this. The farm is centrally located on Hadeland with a short distance to Gardermoen, Hadeland Glassverk and Oslo. Plenty of space to park right outside the door. Quiet surroundings and good bed make you hopefully sleep well while you are here.

Close to Hadeland Glassverk (1.7 km - a short drive or a 20-25 minute walk) Kistefoss Museum (4.9 km) Randsfjord water park, fjord sauna, nice hiking and fishing spots. One room has a double bed measuring 180x200 cm The second bedroom has two Hemnes beds measuring 80x200 cm. These can be pulled out to form double beds, which then measure 160 cm There are duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels on site.
