Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Visit medieval Dunster & castle by car or steam train. Recently refurbished with a modern rustic feel and wood burner. Please state number of guests when booking. Amongst the trees, the cabin is in earshot of the seashore with views from inside and outside of the ever-changing tides and hills beyond. Porthole Log Cabin has a king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom, complete with a roll top bath and a separate walk-in shower. Outside, the large elevated decking area has three separate seating areas to enjoy the ambience of the peaceful setting.

Beautiful Shepherds Hut - Private Garden and Views

Set on a working farm, Shepherd's Rest is the perfect place to come and enjoy the glorious views and piece and quiet of Exmoor. With plenty of local attractions to visit. The Hut has an open plan living and sleeping area, a basic kitchen which includes a two ring gas hob a kettle , toaster and fridge , and a shower room with toilet. There is hot water which runs offa gas boiler . Outside there is a garden with a seating area and a fire pit . There is a parking area close by the Hut .

The Railway Hut is a self-contained shepherd’s hut for two, with luxuriously comfortable double bed with all seasons duvet. En-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries. Kitchenette with all the basics ready for your arrival. For the chilly winter evenings you’ll find a cosy log burner laid and ready to light. Outside facilities include designated parking, private outdoor seating, bbq and fire pit. We also have secure bike storage.
