If requested, a mattress can be arranged for a fifth person. The apartment has underfloor heating and an air heat pump to cool down in the summer heat. Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the courtyard of the farm in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation has been renovated to modern standards in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-time granny. Our property is located in a quiet side village of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. Our yard is home to rabbits, chickens, cats, dogs, horses and ponies. A trampoline, a pedal car and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill.

Welcome to spend your holiday in Kalajoki in a peaceful cottage, close to Hiekkasärkit. From the cottage, it is about 3 km to the islet along the roads (shorter on foot) and about 10 km to Kalajoki. There are plenty of activities for both children and adults. There are hiking trails in the vicinity of the cottage and the golf course is right next door. The nearest beach is about 400m away. The cottage is also used by the host.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Market, cafes, restaurants and shops within a 200-meter radius. 500 meters to the railway station and 800 meters to the bus station. However, a very quiet apartment with a park view. The apartment has been renovated, the furniture is new and the materials are of high quality. We live and work in the city center, so help is close by if needed. Free parking is nearby.
