Great place to rest/relax. Wonderful Landscape upon awakening and a perfect silence day and night. Great Studio, true to the images of the listing, with all the conditions quite clean and tidy. I highly recommend!

Had all the facilities needed, very good value. A few practical issues with an aging building but the host was very helpful.

Very nice accommodation, well equipped. Beautiful environment surrounded by nature. Be careful, vacation homes are under construction nearby, causing some noise disturbances but this should not last. Host not very responsive in communication but always responds to messages in the end. I would recommend it.

We had a very enjoyable two weeks at Natalie and Simon's place. The sunsets were incredibly beautiful given the unobstructed views right from our balcony. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Our hosts made sure we were cosy and warm by heating the place for us when we got home from our daytrips in the evening. We also had a steady supply of fresh eggs, oranges and more. We recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a slower paced rural lifestyle, perfect for rest and relaxation and exploring the area.

We spent a really enjoyable time in this property! The space was not only comfortable and clean but turned out to be great for children as well. The kids enjoyed discovering the place and having fun with the amenities, and we enjoyed watching them having so much joy. I would definitely recommend this place to families who want to unwind and spend quality time!

We spent incredible days in this house and took with us memories that will stay forever. The space is cosy, surrounded by nature everywhere, perfect for those who need to disconnect from the world and simply breathe. The house has everything it takes to feel at home, but what makes this place really special is the energy that you feel there: peace, quiet and a strong connection to the earth. We went with our dogs and it was wonderful to see them happy, free and in contact with nature. Every detail of the house demonstrates care and affection. It is from those places where time slows down and the heart thanks. Thank you for providing this serenity corner. We'll be back for sure.

We had a wonderful weekend at this home in Dornes. It has a crazy charm, faithful in every way to the listing. Located at the edge of a peaceful river that almost looks like a lake, the scenery is simply beautiful and soothing. The house was perfectly suited to our group, comfortable and very well equipped. Claudio, our host, was very responsive and exceptionally available, which really made our stay easier. The village of Dornes is also full of charm. In short, a real little piece of paradise that we recommend without a second thought!

We felt absolutely comfortable in the cottage. So good we even extended spontaneously. Our children were allowed to use the existing toys and therefore very happy. We enjoyed the citrus fruits and the delicious olive oil. The welcome was very warm, even though we didn't get to know the hosts ourselves. They were very interested in making everything fit and always available. The beds were super comfortable and the nights quiet. Scenic, the area is very charming and lush green. There are great hiking opportunities and river bathing spots. Thanks for the wonderful time!

Wonderful secluded place. Special to sit in an old village (well worth 1 street). It feels like getting away from time. The cottage is pleasant and well cooled and nice beds. The shared pool just down the road is beautiful. With a fantastic view of the rolling green hills. Definitely a nice place to relax for a while.

we had a fantastic time at Eva's home she was very warm amd responsive. My husband and I went with the 3 children and there was enough space to accomodate us all. The pool was welcome from the heat of Central Portugal, the garden and Parrot were a treat. It is a place you can go back to and stay and the price was affordable. Thanks Eva xxx

We feel so lucky to have come across this place, it's in a peaceful location nestled in the mountains surrounded by nature, a short 14min drive from Sardoal which has everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the local walks and area that Natascha was really great at telling us about. In particular there's a beautiful walk along the river to a waterfall which our 1 year old and 4 year old could manage. The property itself is gorgeous, a lovely, well-renovated house, ample kitchen, living space and bedrooms. The garden is stunning, with beautiful orange trees and the chance to swim in your private pool surrounded by trees and mountains. It's great for young families with a sandpit and ramps going all the way up the garden and the roof terrace was perfect for eating out on a hot day. Natascha was a great host and communicator. Possibly the best Airbnb we've stayed in. Thanks!

Very nice and cozy house, located in a quiet and distant place from the city. It has all the precise amenities to enjoy a good holiday, offering board games that have brought us great fun throughout the nights. The hostess responded very well to the expected and to the needs and questions. A great experience with a great chance to repeat.
