Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Macon County

We loved the house and will stay there again. We have family in the area and visit yearly. We previously stayed in a hotel but now bring Mom with us, so having separate bed and bath is really nice. The amenities are great and the kitchen had everything I needed to do a little cooking.

We had a great stay at Tiffany’s place! We traveled with another family with six kids/teens between the two groups. Everyone had something to keep them entertained. The kids loved the creek and the game room. The house is plenty big for everyone to spread out. There’s tons of outside seating/spaces to enjoy. We had a few things we needed help with during our stay and Tiffany was very responsive. We will be returning!

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

Selena’s home was simply amazing! Looked just like the pictures, super clean, beautiful view and location! Very responsive with messaging. Next time I’m in Franklin I will stay again!

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! We went with kids and adults and saw waterfall, ate the best food downtown and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the cabin. Would recommend to anyone visiting. Incredible hosts too! John Mitchell

this was such a peaceful venue! the location had everything we needed and more; stephanie even gave us bread and butter! the mountains are gorgeous and quaint- and you’ll sleep like a baby lol. definitely book here, worth every cent!

This was our second time staying and absolutely will not be our last. We always feel right at home and Samantha is a great host. I highly recommend staying here if your looking for the home away from in a quiet, beautiful setting.

Sunset and Chica were amazing hosts! They were friendly, informative, and extremely helpful as we were hiking the AT. Laundry facilities, loaner clothes, and shuttles into town were available. The shower was incredible. Can not overstate the hospitality shown to us. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in a peaceful location close to downtown Franklin, look no further! Up a quaint, winding road, nestled in the trees is a wonderful two bedroom ground level apartment waiting just for you. Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted by your hosts Dave, Barb & Beans who are always available but never intrusive. Their view is wonderful! The property exactly as described. You Can’t ask for more! And I can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time at the downtown apartment. It was super clean & very cozy. We had everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

Belinda and Ben were great host! The home met our needs as we were waiting to close on our home. The space worked well for my husband who was working remotely and also for the visiting grand kids. The home is simple bbut had everything we needed.

Stayed at Lisa’s for the start of a weekend on the AT. I had to book last minute and it still worked smoothly. I would totally stay here again. Spacious and a lovely kitty that said hello too :)

Chris was very nice and communicative during our stay. My partner loved the place and so did I, especially the hot tub. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if you are in the area looking to check out what’s there. The waterfalls are beautiful!

Kelli's place was such a treat. Our family had a wonderful time. I can not say enough wonderful things about the condo. Beautiful views, spotlessly clean, well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, etc.), and numerous extra touches that made for a very special family vacation. We are already planning a return trip. Ten stars for this wonderful home and ten more start for the spectacular owners. We miss Cashiers already, but we will be back soon to visit Kelli's place!

Great little cozy condo! Well appointed kitchen so we cooked a few meals. Great location that was close to town. Firewood was furnished by the owners. Would rent again!

If you are looking for a mountain cabin get away vibe, this is the place! It was beautiful, clean, much bigger than I expected and cozy at the same time. The huge porch is the piece de resistance - when you lie down in the comfy porch swing, you feel like you are in a tree house. I would definitely recommend and will rebook if I am back in Cashiers again.

Wonderful! The original place we booked was canceled due to frozen pipes, leaving us without a place to stay. Thankfully, we found this place and could not have been happier! Beautiful views, great deck, and overall a wonderful space! Also, Stewart was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
