Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Madawaska Valley

Nick's place is very beautiful and cozy. Very clean and organized. Nick was also very pleasant to communicate with and quick to respond. We would definitely be staying there again when working in the area. 100% recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here. The outdoor space was picturesque and the indoor space was equally as nice. The complimentary parks pass and proximity to Algonquin was a huge bonus. We only wished we had stayed longer :)

Taylor's house is a new construction with modern amenities and plenty of space for a larger family or group. Our group required a small accommodation that Taylor graciously accepted and we appreciated that very much. The house is just outside the East Gate of Algonquin Park and would be very convenient for someone wanting to explore the great hiking trails in the park. For us, the close proximity to the Opeongo River and Upper Madawaska River was perfect for our group to do some spring paddling. The hot tub was a welcome feature after a long day of paddling.

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This is a great place to stay. The inside is beautiful, super clean and great place to hang out in. Beds are comfortable. Washrooms are nice, clean and have what you need. Kitchen is well stocked, nice to cook in. Common area is very comfortable and the wood burning stove is a great touch. The outside property is super private and an amazing place to walk around. The fire pit is a great way to pass the time. Although we did not end up using the hot tub, it looked very clean. If you’re looking to get away and relax, stay here.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Kelly’s place is well worth every penny. Beautiful river and huge property with a great fire pit and multiple paddle boats. Also well equipped inside with everything you need and very well kept. Felt right at home. Would definitely recommend!

Helena was amazing. Exceptionally helpful and accomodating when we ran into issues on our end. Would definitely recommend this location and definitely would return!

This place was perfect to meet our needs. It was very clean and very comfortable. There were so many options for seating. Open concept so you could enjoy being together. It was easy to find. Quiet apart from the traffic on the road. The kitchen was well stocked to with anything we would needs. We will absolutely be booking this place the next time we visit our family.

What a lovely space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sofabed was topped with a memory foam topper and was so comfortable. Each room had a fireplace giving the whole unit such a cozy feel. Sarah reached out ahead to provide details on arrival and knowing the we were there to see friends for St Patrick’s Day had decorated the unit. She also provided a welcome basket with snacks and a binder with information on the area. Will stay again the next time we’re in Douglas.

We had a lovely stay at the Milkweed Inn. We appreciated having an entire apartment – its spacious, has a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and was spotlessly clean. The hosts provided complimentary breakfasts at their café (The Monarch Café) which were amazing! The Inn is located in Coe Hill - a scenic area with several lakes nearby. Anita was a great host and very responsive to communications. Whether you’re staying at the Inn or not, if you’re in the area and looking for a great breakfast or scrumptious home baked goods, make sure you stop by the café.

It’s a beautiful house. Very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful experience staying. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in.

I can’t say enough other than I felt like we went to our families house for the weekend. Her and her husband made us feel right at home. She had homemade brownies waiting for us and greeted us when we arrived. There was nothing missed in the way they have this set up. The most above and beyond experience with a beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

The General is such a beautiful location. We only stayed for one night for a quick getaway but would love to come back in summer. The building is so cosy and the sofa was incredibly comfortable. Loved our brief time here.

Christine communicated well and provided a list of all requirements. The lake and dock is absolutely perfect. A few steps down to the water but the shallow waterfront makes up for it. Awesome spots for kids to be swimming without worry. Lots of space.

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

We had a beautiful stay at the wonderful Lotus. Exactly as advertised, a spacious, well-appointed house with amazing lakeside view and 5 minutes to our favourite ski spot. We were 8 people and had plenty of room, comfy beds, plentiful clean linens and towels and a huge driveway which was cleared of snow before and during our stay! Thank you Hai for your hospitality, we will definitely be back!

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!
