Being located on the AL/ TN line it’s 5 minutes from Interstate 65 ,25 minutes from Huntsville, AL and 1.5 hours to both Birmingham and Nashville .

Welcome to Modern Millie! This comfortable townhouse is perfect for anyone wanting to live like locals in Madison. Double master bedrooms, a quiet neighborhood, & a central location make this a great spot. Less than 5 min to restaurants & entertainment at Toyota Field, & less than 10 min to the airport, Space & Rocket Center, & Orion Amphitheater. While we have made some thoughtful upgrades and improvements while living here, it is not a new home & some original charm may still be present.

John Adams and a veteran who served in the Allied occupation of Japan following WWII. Going further back, this was one of the first areas to be settled. It was part of the "Sims Settlement" and was defended during the War of 1812 by James and William Slaughter. Settlers farmed the fertile land near Indian Creek, now called the Indian Creek Greenway - 4 mins away.

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.
