If you're looking for a stay in Chiang Mai, LOOK NO FURTHER! We stayed here with us two small children and had a nice time! Jan's villa is absolutely wonderful. When his gate opens, you end up in a very nice garden and an oasis of peace. Everything is well maintained. Jan was already waiting for us outside the villa. We felt so welcome at Jan's place! He showed us around and took us to the villa. Upon arrival there was fruit, water, bread and eggs ready for us. The villa is beautiful. Everything looks neat, clean and well maintained. A large beautiful kitchen with all the essentials. We spent a lot of time at the lovely pool that we always had to ourselves. Jan and his team were always there for us. Elizabeth brought toys for our children. They did our laundry which was nice! We borrowed bikes from Jan and were even allowed to go out with his moped for a while. We had lunch at Bunny Hop which is definitely recommended. We would recommend this place!

We cannot say enough about how generous and kind Wat & Boom are. They did so much for us, including bringing us eggs, farm produce, and breakfast treats, spending hours teaching our teenagers to harvest and prepare sugarcane juice and fresh coconut, showing us around their farm, and taking one of us to the hospital after a (self-inflicted) injury. The farm is beautiful and peaceful - we enjoyed this haven in nature as a travel break. We rode the provided bikes to the temple, village shops & restaurants, a cute coffee shop and around the area. We can also highly recommend the "Banthi Tour" with Mr P. (search on Tripadvisior) for a full day village experience about 15 minutes away. Staying at the farm feels a bit like glamping, with the downstairs patio, kitchen and 2 bathrooms open to the outside, and a comfortable bedroom upstairs with fans and good mosquito protection. Wat & Boom, we would like to thank you for a magical experience!

It was a super pleasant experience. Perfect villa with exquisite views. The host helped us move in smoothly. Introducing local specialty restaurants. Also help us to contact all matters regarding car rental. Next time I come to Chiang Mai I definitely hope to have the opportunity to stay in this villa Again.

Wonderful stay in Ake’s place! The surrounding is beautiful, with a night safari right next to the place and greenery all around. The host owns a lovely dog called Boon, super adorable and friendly. The host is welcoming as well as the neighbors! So many nice places were introduced, while the cafe and bbq around is also amazing. Definitely should stay if you love nature, animal and lovely people :)

Bodge and Kanya have such a special place and are just fantastic hosts. The house has been one of my favorite airbnbs so far! We had everything we needed and more. It was so beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing and our hosts felt just like we were staying near our parents. Anything we needed or any questions we had, we felt comfortable enough to just ask. Both of them are so sweet and easy to talk to and great at showing us around the property and advice on things to see and do in town. Bodge took the time to show us around and cut us up some coconuts and Kanya made the BEST food. As soon as we made it back to Bangkok we were already missing this place and our sweet new friends! We will be back!

I really like the old Zhou's house, I don't feel like I can stay enough, the whole courtyard is as good as a fairy tale, the house, furniture, to the towel cups, you can see the old Zhou family's attentiveness and taste, the yard is really beautiful:) They went to the market and brought us delicious vegetables and fruits, my daughter was very happy, went to pick up red beans every day, saw pineapple, see the fish, I will have the opportunity to book again in the future, I will have the opportunity to book again in the future, thank you!

Peaceful, rural location. Great restaurants with in short driving distance and provisions shop for essentials within walking distance. Our son loved the pool to cool off after our daily outings. Any questions we had were quickly answered by Carsten. A nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A beautiful place not too far from the city, lovely people and also lovely animals :) I just stayed two days but it was amazing! It's possible to order food and drinks with the app. if don't feel to walk or drive away.

If you enjoy staying at a quiet and peaceful place with farmland scenery, Sam’s house will be the perfect choice. The farm view is beautiful, and the restaurant staffs are very nice and helpful. Thanks again for hosting us!

Very warm-hearted! Chinese speaking, easy going. Super calming rice fields right in front of balcony. Breakfast was our real surprise. Highly recommended for those who wish to stay for a real retreat.

To celebrate the New Year, my family gathered in Chiang Mai and stayed at Joy and Joerg’s Airbnb, which was the perfect spot for our reunion. In August, I visited their place in advance, and they kindly showed me around, sharing tips on relaxation, cooking, and massages. In December, the house comfortably accommodated everyone in separate bedrooms. We enjoyed swimming in the pool, relaxing in hammocks, and having a barbecue with fresh meat and vegetables. Their delicious Thai dishes, with separate chili and non-chili plates, were perfect for our family’s preferences. Despite minor issues like rental car trouble and a family member falling ill, Joy and Joerg provided excellent support and advice. Their hospitality made our stay unforgettable, and we left with cherished memories.

the place always absolutely beautiful

The Cyngam Resort is a truly unique place to stay and experience the delights of Chiang Mai. Whilst it’s in a pretty rural setting it’s still only 20 mins via Grab taxi and a 25 minute walk to local restaurants and shops. I’d describe the accommodation as ‘shabby chic’ full of rustic charm and character. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable although we did experience some noises in a couple of the bedrooms from the pool filter. We also experienced recurring problems with the hot water to the showers although the fantastic Aor and her team did their very best to resolve the problems as best they could. In fact, the biggest positive of the resort was the friendliness of the staff and the hospitality and support given during our stay and also via prompt communication before our arrival in helping us to plan our week. I would definitely recommend Cyngam for those looking for a unique way to stay in Chiang Mai

Comfortable large bed, peaceful nights, and a sleepy person who sleeps until dawn!Friends who like to experience country life and love small animals can come and enjoy.It is best to bring your own car, so it is easy to go to the ancient city or other places to play.

Great place, really cool spot right on the edge of a creek. Very unique little house, feels like you're tucked away in your own little paradise. Very easy to get to central Chiang Mai. Bob has built something really special here. Super helpful guy and really friendly, I will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic area with very beautiful plants and garden, blessed with all kinds of fruit that you get served for breakfast! The owners Khun Nong & Khun Khit are always present and know all the questions answers! Extremely friendly and also interested in yours! Family and any staff, should not go unmentioned, especially the hearty housekeeper! Right from the start, they helped us find a "decent, strong" motorcycle - Doi Inthanon - to name just a destination where you need one;) Also, it's a little outside what we wanted and were looking for!... And found 😎 The fruit piece is incredibly good, - definitely take the Thai-Breakfast!! 😍 Ideal for spending the whole day, enjoying and/or also looking at the area around!! Authentic cooking kitchens, cultivation fields including water buffalo, as well as a market(dalaat) and a temple( Wat), can be explored and marveled there! If you appreciate it, book immediately ;)
