Vacation rentals in Magueyes

Angelique’s place was a dream! We arrived at night to the melodic sounds of the coquis. The view in the morning was indescribably breathtaking. It felt like we were on top of the world. The photos do it no justice, truly. The hike to the river was beautiful and slightly challenging. In some spots it was slippery or had loose rocks. Be sure to wear hiking shoes and that each step is firmly planted. It was easy to follow though due to how well it was marked. I fell once, but I always fall 😂😂. The bruising was completely worth it to swim in such a pristine and private river and swimming holes. The house is perfect for that authentic experience of living in the montes. Just ensure you know what you’re getting into. Take everything you need before you get there as it’s a ghost town (even up to 40 mins away) after 7 pm, and most places aren’t even open until Saturday. The privacy and seclusion that allowed us to unplug and just be present. 10/10 would recommend and come again.

The house was very spacious, clean, and was perfect for my family. There was a little blip with getting access to the house through the neighborhood gates but Lymari said that would be fixed for the next guests. I would definitely recommend this house to others. We very much enjoyed our stay!

I had lost my key from the other rental place iam staying at for a week the host said i had to wait for the next day to get in n pay for a copy of the key i asked him at 9pm for help i was willing to pay anybody to come open the door for me but that didnt happen i thank God Ray answered me fast n last minute n kind of late i was looking for the casino hotel in the area but it was full thank you Ray God Bless you and your home i know when i come back to PR this cozy modern apt is perfect for 1 or 2 max

Edgar and Linda were great hosts. They very very attentive and responsive. The cottage was perfect for our 2 night stay. We wanted to explore Ponce and visit La Guancha to see the Hector lavoe statue. We went to Lucas Bar and grill and had the most delicious chicken wings! The Costanera restaurant was a nice place to have yummy food too. We fell in love with Playa Santa in Quanica. Must see! We wound definitely consider returning and staying at the cottage again. Beautiful little studio perfect location very close to everything. Centralized location had everything we needed. Definitely would stay there again.

Loved this stay! First time in Ponce and if I return I will always choose here. The apartment is great, everything you need is available. Great communication with the host. Cold ac and ceiling fan. Decor is beautiful just like I would use in my own home. House feels welcoming, clean bathroom and nice quiet neighborhood. Radames is a wonderful host.

Second time staying and I have no complaints. Love the area. Jennifer is very attentive and friendly. Place is very well kept and clean. Definitely missed having access to the backyard. Was looking forward to looking up at the sky while laying down in the trampoline. 😀 Thank you Jennifer for checking up on us during the power outage. Gabriela’s place is very comfortable and clean! We were traveling with an infant and she slept very well in one of the bedrooms at night. When we’re back in Ponce in the future, I’ll definitely look to stay here again! Great restaurants nearby too and a close super market and Walmart.
