Superb quiet villa with garden typical of the island in a pretty residence with caretaker, pool and tennis The hosts make everything available for the stay, the amenities and the bathroom are tops Excellent value for money because villa + internet+pool+housekeeper 30/20 in Brenda who welcomed us with a smile and conviviality and who cooks good Indian and Mauritian dishes perfectly. We'll be happy to go back!

Great value for money! Very responsive and professional host, accommodation close to the airport, nice little pool and breakfast included very decent. Only small downside, the floor is the room to be cleaner, the rest was fine.

The accommodation in the Dodolalodge was very nice and corresponds to the description and the photos. Christian is a great and friendly host who is always available with advice and support. Also a car rental was possible without any problems. The lodge is quietly located in a side street, to the beautiful beach and some restaurants it is a 5-10 minutes walk. There is also a supermarket nearby.

Near the airport, nice room

Yannick and her husband welcomed us in the best possible way. Their house is fantastic and our tree house in their garden was very cosy. We felt like at home, they were lovely with us. breakfast was delicious. I strongly reccomend to stay at their place. you will live an unforgettable experience!

Nice apartment close to the sea. There are some restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The apartment itself is equipped. Not very new furniture but very comfortable including sleeping. The host was always available, solved any problems. A very nice person.

Conny and her husband were incredibly warm from the beginning and welcomed us with open arms. You immediately notice that they are hosts with real passion – they really do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The apartment was clean, stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you need. We found the many personal tips on restaurants, excursions and hidden highlights in the area especially cool – you immediately feel like a local. If you are looking for a place with a heart, personality and a real feel-good factor, Conny is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

Connie welcomed us for check-in in front of the hotel and lovingly showed us everything in peace and gave tips on things to do, supermarkets and restaurants on Google Maps, which was very helpful. The room is very nice and cozily furnished and with a fantastic terrace with sea view and sunrise, which you share with the neighboring room. The breakfast is super tasty, due to our early departure at 5am Connie provided us with a small breakfast in the fridge, which was awesome! We stayed there two nights before our departure, as you only need 15 minutes to the airport and were able to recover perfectly from the trip on the terrace. we can highly recommend the room! (maybe a small way to improve, send the Wi-Fi password after booking, then you can contact us on site upon arrival for check-in if you do not have a SIM card or internet) - merci Connie :)

My other planned stays in Mauritius were at large resorts and I was apprehensive that I may not be comfortable or engaged at this cozy spot. However, deciding to stay at The Good Life was a fantastic decision and led to some of the most memorable experiences I had on my (solo) trip. Antoine and his wife were warm and welcoming; he provided me with numerous resources, information and assistance. Above and beyond. My sole minor complaint was the unavailability of air-con during the (hot, humid) days. I appreciate the effort to be eco-friendly, but if you intend to spend time in the room, this is something to consider. That said, both the breakfast area and bungalows are cheery, bright, modern and spotless. The pool and gardens are magical - an absolute oasis. There are numerous thoughtful touches in the design of the rooms, delicious, fresh meals, solicitous service (thank you, Cavita!) and whatever detergent they use smells INCREDIBLE. Villa Osumare was just perfect for me! Abi is warm, gives plenty of tips and takes care of the well-being of the guests together with the many enchanting employees. The room was clean, smelled fantastic, had mosquito net, fridge, air conditioning, fan, umbrella. There is a paid washing machine in the house. Breakfast is plentiful and stops until dinner in one of the many Mauritian restaurants. The pool is wonderful, especially at night for bat and starry skies. The wifi was reliable and also stable on the great roof terrace. It leads a path right to a beach. It was too rocky for my taste and had too many anchoring boats. I always went a bit further for bathing.

Well, we can only agree with the other guests, we were thrilled with the accommodation, the hospitality and the warmth of the two! It was super nice and we can highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice, clean and very well located place to stay nearby. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks again for everything! We had a wonderful stay with Connie and her husband. The accommodation is right by the water, offering a fantastic view of Mahebourg Bay. The rooms are nicely decorated and spotless! We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately, this was our last stop in Mauritius. Connie is incredibly kind and warm-hearted – she gave us the best tips for sightseeing and delicious places to eat afterward. At the top, after a second stay Under the Badamier, we can only recommend this hotel! A attentive, welcoming team, full of good places to visit! The room is clean and cleaned every day! The hearty and varied breakfast!
