“Clean, cute, and comfortable. I am a side-sleeper and the bed was a bit firm for my tastes, but not bad. My wife slept well. We appreciated the snacks, bottled water, and soda. There is a great selection of movies and a comfortable couch on which to watch. The shower is a little tight...my elbow bumped and opened the shower door a couple of times. But you can teach an old dog new tricks and after the second time I learned to keep my arms in a bit. The location in Logan is extremely close to the temple and only a few minutes to USU or downtown. Communication was prompt and helpful. For our stay, the bedroom windows were covered by split sets of blinds, which allowed some sight into the room at an angle between the two sets of blinds at each window. I mentioned this to the host and she indicated they were already planning on putting in new blinds. Overall, we would stay here again.”
Cozy cabin Off the beaten pathi in the rustic farm town of Samaria Idaho. Samara is famous for the Iron Door and is situated off the I-15 just over the Utah border. Samaria is known for its many restored cabins including the cabin Olive Osmond was born in. The cabin is located block away from a beautiful park and an old saloon - now candy store! CABIN CLOSED during the winter NOVEMBER THRU JANUARY. FOR CHRISTMAS Christmas minimum night stay 5 nights.
“Nestled in a quiet, peaceful town, this quaint cabin was surrounded by an atmosphere of serenity that made for a perfect weekend getaway. The host was incredibly kind and carried such a friendly demeanor that I felt as though I could have easily spent hours in conversation with her. The locals were just as pleasant, and did well to give me directions and tips on fun activities to partake in in the area. The local diners have amazing food that I’ll surely find myself craving in days to come. The cabin itself was spectacular and I felt right at home inside the cozy space. There’s a cute little electric heater fireplace that did well to keep the cabin warm despite the frigid rains, and I got the benefit of sleeping up in a fun little loft space. I cannot wait to return in the summer when I can see more of what the town has to offer!”
