Vacation rentals with a sauna in Mälaren

The apartment is beautiful and larger than expected. It is clean and equipped with everything you need for a short city trip. We really appreciated the communication with Bella. She was always easy to reach and responded proactively to our concerns. We also truly appreciated the wonderful location of the Airbnb. There are restaurants, bars, various shopping options nearby, and Stockholm’s Old Town, “Gamla Stan,” is just a short walk away. Public transportation is also easily accessible. I can definitely recommend the apartment.

A very comfortable stay, on my 10 days there i had no issues and any question I had Tilden was quick to respond. Close to the subway and yet quiet neighborhood. If i visited again i would check for this place again first.

The accommodation was perfect for our family and everything was in place. Erik and Ebba were incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this home located right by the lake with a great view.

The apartment is a fresh, elegant space. Newly built in an old block, with all options except a lift, it is a wonderful place to stay. Once I understood that the 5th floor apartment didn't have a lift, Sandra and Niklas went out of their way to assist us. Without their support we probably wld have cancelled the booking, and what a pity that wld have been.

Great place, in the center of Stoccolma, an 8-minute walk from the central train station, a cozy place and as in the photos, a very clean and tidy room. I recommend if you're with a group of friends.

My experience at Janet's place was even better than I'd expected. The whole downstairs (technically it's a basement, but it's only partly below ground, and the windows let in lots of light) was more or less "mine". And I hadn't realized there is so much green space adjacent to Janet: paths for walking, running, biking, etc. And yet it's easy and quick to get to the heart of Stockholm. The best part about this Airbnb spot is probably Janet herself, who was immensely helpful with my numerous questions and requests. Highly recommended!

Very nice accommodation in old house, super charming, good condition and cleaning. The only smaller detail was that the double bed is next to the bed in the second room, so you can hear each other very well through the wall when sleeping. No drying cabinet for ski equipment. Recommended, very good!

The appartment is nice and the furniture is very tasteful. The area is also very cool and Channa was responding to our questions quickly. The bed is extremely comfortable. Thanks for having us :)

Very nice location, close to nature and train station to Stockholm. Very nice host who was very warm and welcoming. The kitchen was a bit under-equipped, some basic things like spoons/bread knife etc. would be nice to have. Else than that no complaints. Would recommend.

It was a very pleasant stay! It’s a nice little room with all the necessities, featuring its own entrance and a very cozy bed. The Airbnb is located in a rural area with many upscale houses that look beautiful during an evening stroll. It’s only a 20-minute drive to Stockholm city center and just a 5-minute walk to the lake. Struan was very polite and always helpful. He even went out to get us groceries after we mentioned that we would be arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning, which made the start of our vacation much easier. Thanks again for that, Struan! Overall, a great stay! :)

We had an amazing stay at Elin’s place. Her apartment was well furnished and very comfortable, we felt really at home. The kitchen especially was really well supplied! It was close to the metro station and only a few stops from Sodermalm and Gamla Stan. She was really responsive and helpful. Thanks Elin for a great stay 😊

Sara is a great host, very helpful always answering super fast. the place is great, has everything you need and the location is perfect, super close to the subway and several restaurants and markets I'd definitely come back once in Stockholm again.

This is Airbnb at its finest! Anna is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great stay. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and relax. We only stayed for a week but would have happily stayed longer. The location is perfect for peaceful walks, and getting to the city center is easy and convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience—we’d gladly return and highly recommend it!

We had a great stay at Anna's cozy and practical apartment. We really enjoyed the area, it was quiet and peaceful, with a long way to the city center and close to the sea with nice hiking trails. We would gladly came back!

It was such a lovely house in lovey peaceful surroundings and a lovely garden. We wished we had spent a few more nights rather than just the 3 because we never had chance to explore the local area properly. Herald was really helpful and friendly with plenty of local suggestions and we would definitely consider coming back to stay.

We stayed in the cabin 4 days over Easter weekend 2025. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, the cottage is great with all modern amenities. It was really exciting for our 3 year old living next door with horses. The ice cream villa with great ice cream and waffles is within walking distance. We enjoyed the nature and tranquility during our stay here. Susanne was a great hostess. Highly recommend!

Amazing and spacious villa right at the ocean! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay at, it was magical. Frida was very quick with her communication and very supportive, before and throughout the stay. Would definitely come back here, totally worth it.

This place went beyond expectations! Clear instructions on how to access keys etc, as well as how to turn on electricity, water, etc. Beautiful nature and not far from a quaint sea town. Very ice and clean sauna, which was a wonder to use. Overall, this was a brilliant way to recharge and disconnect for a while.

Great accommodation and a nice host. Shares the property with the landlord, which slightly limits the otherwise private location. Nice reception and everything worked well and the accommodation corresponded to pictures and other description.

A peaceful hideaway by the water. We had a truly wonderful extended weekend at Daniel’s house in Sweden. The place is exactly what we were hoping for - beautiful, peaceful, and with a stunning location right by the water. The house itself is stylish, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and we instantly felt at home. Every detail in the house reflects care and thoughtfulness - it’s clear this is a place made for guests to feel at ease. Daniel was a fantastic host – warm, responsive and helpful throughout. Communication was smooth and kind from beginning to end, which made everything feel effortless. One small note for future guests: the pier shown in some of the pictures is no longer there. It didn’t take anything away from the experience, but it’s good to know in advance. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

A view we will never forget! Beautiful summer house, equipped with hot tub, sauna and pool, cozy fireplace and Kamado Joe Grill we loved! Our kids enjoyed the pool, the small treehouse and the outdoor toys. Enough space with 7 people and retreats, surrounded by great nature. 3 min walk to the sea with diving board and swimming spot, as well as 20 min to a small lake (fishing and swimming). On the island there is a small grocery store and about 25 minutes the nearest large supermarket (Lidl, ICA, etc.) We had great evenings in our own pool house with fantastic sunsets! We fully recommend Niklas's place. He was always available and often inquired about our well-being. Even when we had a problem with the toilet, he organized someone who was immediately on hand despite the weekend within a few moments. Great host with a nice touch to the reception.
