Wonderful place right in the heart of El Bolson. Great views to wake up to!

We made a last-minute decision to visit El Bolsón and booked this place, even though it didn’t have many reviews at the time. It turned out to be a great choice, and we had a wonderful stay! The hosts, Abby and Leandro, were very nice, friendly, and helpful, responding quickly to all our questions. The house itself looks much nicer than the photos – it’s a fantastic place to connect with nature. The mountain views are breathtaking, and waking up to the sounds of horses, chickens, and the serene natural surroundings made for a truly unique and relaxing experience. The house offers all the essentials and more; the kitchen is well-equipped with proper cooking materials, pans, and utensils. We had no issues with hot water or the heating system. Cons; The property is located 4 km off the nearest asphalt road, and the unpaved road has many potholes. If you have a small car like we did, you’ll need to drive slowly, and it takes about 15 minutes to cover this stretch.

Very cozy and peaceful place in the mountains near El Bolson. A great place to relax and get away

El Remanso was absolutely stunning, a lovely house perched on the edge of a cliff! The interior is decorated with vintage pots and pans and antique skiing equipment. Communication was excellent and the location was perfect for our needs, about ten minutes outside of town and not far from an amazing ice cream place called Heladeria Humus. Some other reviewers expressed worries about the dirt/gravel road, but we didn't find it a problem at all - don't forget that you're going to need to drive on roads of that kind to reach many of the hikes and other attractions in Patagonia anyway.
