The North Gate- Town house in the centre of Newark

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great place, really nice to stay at. Comfy beds and lovely touches with the crumpets jam, teas and coffee. Well decorated and nice outside space out the back too. We had a good time. Only points would have been nice to have an armchair in the front room as there was 4 of us. There was some parts that needed a bit of a clean and a few spider webs in corners etc but didn’t affect our stay.

Lynwood - Victorian Home in the Peak District

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My family and I have just returned from a lovely stay at Lynwood House. Lynwood House was clean and modern while retaining period features, it had everything we needed to feel at home. It was an easy walk to all the local amenities and some great walks from the doorstep. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful House and would return in a flash.

Charlesworth’s

SaraRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This is a beautiful, spacious cottage with everything you could need for a few days away. We all enjoyed relaxing at the cottage in between trips out, the upstairs living space has lovely views and ample space for family meals, cosy reading corners and lots of streaming services to log into. There’s a lovely pub next door that does stone fired pizzas, shops within walking distance and dog walks accessible from the door. The Rivelin valley walks are a few minutes drive away and are great for couples, families and dogs. Sheffield is accessible within 15 mins in the car, great food halls, craft beer places, cute brunch spots and much more. The Peak District for walking and visiting cute villages, outdoor pools and caverns is also within 15-30 minutes. A great place to stay and so much space

Luxury Stays at Silverwood House

AmyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a wonderful stay we had, from booking to arrival, departure and aftercare the hosts were amazing. The house was lovely, clean, spacious and a fab location for us and great local food establishments nearby. Nothing was too much trouble. We travelled a long way and were delayed a few times but the hosts were flexible and patient on waiting for us. I also left a couple of items in the house and they very kindly posted them back to me. I can't recommend this place and the hosts enough. I will definitely book with them again. Thank you!!

Big family country house 20 mins from Alton Towers

KirstyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a brilliant Easter stay at the Corner House! Rona was a lovely host, very friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful - had tons of room for the five of us and our dog, and the games room was brilliant! The Vernon Arms pub is dog friendly and just across the road. We had a lovely breakfast there, and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to visit again. Thanks for a lovely stay Rona! X

Stunning Countryside Manor — Hot Tub & Parking

HazelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great stay. Friendly & helpful host. Lots of character in the house. The only down side for me ( but not the rest of the party )was the steps up from the car port to the house as I am a little unsteady on my legs. But other than that a great place. Lovely pub just down the road too

Barn Cottage

LouiseRating, 5 stars6 days ago
A beautiful cottage in a great location, next door to a post office & grocery shop. We enjoyed a circular walk in the picturesque village down past the village hall, along the river, with a small area to take a dip/swim, and back up via Brookside Cottages. We are unfortunately not likely to return, so spent a little more on the entrance ticket to Chatsworth House for a two-day access Home & Garden tour, that takes a max of 5 people. Day 1: Morning 90 min tour of house, 1 hr for lunch & in afternoon 90 min tour of gardens in a golf buggy. Day 2: Free time to visit areas in more depth at leisure. Would definately recommend Jackie as a host & her cottage.

No.97

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cozy terrace house, beautifully decorated, we felt right at home. Good soundproofing between bedrooms and didn’t hear the neighbours so nice and quiet. Note that the staircases are extremely steep up to the 1st floor (master bedroom and single bedroom) as well as spacious bedroom on the second floor. One bathroom with lots of hot water and a great bath and shower. Enclosed garden for our dog was great, thanks for the dog welcome bowls and treats ! Parking was on the street right outside.

The Tissington Retreat, Ashbourne Heights

LaurenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A beautifully clean and well equipped stay, hosts were out of this world and so attentive. Providing us some baby bits to assist with our stay was so helpful and kind. We would recommend this stay to anybody and we will definitely visit again. The site in which the accommodation is based has a pool on site, little shop and a fantastic children’s area which makes it so family friendly. Our stay and the accommodation was faultless.

The Farmhouse

LibbyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Buttercup Down - with heated pool & games room

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

Family Home Getaway - Hot Tub, Sauna & Swim Spa

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Brilliant location, we stayed at Clover House before and after our wedding in Sheffield with a party of six. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation and the hot tub was lovely and well maintained. Also loved the goats and great space in the field for taking our dog with lots of walking available nearby. We also visited Matlock farm park 5 minutes down the road which was a big hit with our 3 year old niece. Overall great dog friendly house and location, and host available and responsive to queries. Highly recommended.

Dog Friendly Rural Retreat

EmmaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

The Cow Shed

Christopher PaulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The property was a beautifully quirky and tastefully decorated renovation. It's in a very quiet and picturesque area with a pub and restaurant within easy walking distance. ideally situated within a 20 minute drive of Newark on Trent and also the city of Lincoln. Both of these places have an abundance of Restaurants and shopping and also historic interest. so wether it's a quiet country retreat or a full on plenty to do break you are after then the Cow Shed is an ideal choice. I'm looking forward to staying at Diane's other 3 properties which are located in the surrounding area. 10 out of 10 .

Chatsworth Cottage, Little Longstone

JohnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sam and Annie's cottage was a lovely location to spend 8 days as a family of three (including with a 9 month old baby). It included a large and very comfortable bed, a cot in a separate room for our baby, and everything needed in the kitchen to be able to make a meal. They were very helpful at making sure we had everything we needed for the baby (e.g. high-chair, baby bath, etc) and were very responsive to any questions that came up during our stay. The cottage is in a lovely spot, with walks right on its doorstep, and Monsal Head a short 5 minute walk away. The local pub is also excellent (ensure to make a reservation). We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Luxury self-catering, 1 dbl bed, lounge, parking

AlliRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at the Grooms Lodge was our second and we're so glad we booked in advance to secure our Easter vacation here. Julie is a wonderful host who contacted us prior to arrival to check our ETA and to make sure everything was ready for our stay. The accommodation has everything we could need ie fridge, oven, kettle etc. The shower room is well speckled and very clean. Once we were parked on the private driveway we felt safe and secure letting our dog play and wander around the garden. Seeing the horses in the fields helps us to feel relaxed. Plus the canal is very close to the property so we enjoyed many morning strolls before joining our family for Easter celebrations. We both feel completely rested after our stay at The Grroms Lodge. Many thanks to Julie.

Lovely Little Lodge, Hot Tub Heaven

SamanthaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was my first time booking an Air BNB, and I was a bit unsure since I usually stay in hotels. We had a fantastic time during our getaway; the pod was warm and tidy. Traveling with our 2-year-old was a breeze because the garden was fenced, allowing her to play outside safely. The setting was stunning, just a short stroll to the town, yet it remained tranquil and serene. We enjoyed our evenings relaxing on the deck beneath the garden lights. Luke and Sally were incredibly accommodating, providing great suggestions for local attractions. We chatted with Luke both mornings, and he was friendly and easy to talk to. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, and as soon as we returned, we started checking for the next available dates to come back because we enjoyed it so much. We definitely plan to return soon. Thank you!
