CORONAVIRUS: Our outhouse is isolated and self contained with a small kitchen. We have 14 acres of wood and the outhouse sits next to it. There are hammocks, trampoline, swings and a treehouse. Animals and birds. There are extensive footpaths in the countryside from our doorstep. And Oxford is only 3 miles away. Come and have a safe break with us !
“This was our first Airbnb experience and Joy and David’s place exceeded our expectations from the moment we got there. What makes this extra special is how unique the place is! The cottage was spotlessly clean, airy and bright. We loved the extras like homemade bread, jams and cereals. David provided us with some spinach and courgette from their garden for our evening BBQ which was a lovely surprise.Of course the pièce de résistance is the amazing woods the cottage is set in. Within the first few minutes of getting there, Joy showed my son round to the trampoline, the hammocks and the lovely treehouse right next to the cottage. My son went nuts - in a good way!! We spent a LOT of time taking lovely walks into the woods and exploring the area. It was nice to spot local wildlife, but alas, the deer were rather elusive during our visit! :-) With all the lovely trees around, the cottage was especially cozy during the heatwave. We had a couple of questions - and David and Joy were very quick to respond and provide assistance. They really are superb hosts. The only slight downer is the hot water. It is absolutely fine for 2 people, but when there are 3, the tank takes about 1 hour to reheat. But even this, David was quick to provide a workaround. In summary, we can’t recommend this place enough! It is this kind of property that gives Airbnb an edge over traditional hotel stays - we had a memorable holiday within a unique setting. Thank you very much once again Joy and David.”

“Carolyn was a wonderful host and made us feel really welcome at her marina home. The breakfast was good, and served at a time of our choosing in the morning; and what a treat to enjoy it in the garden over looking the marina. The room is not huge but contains everything we needed including an en suite; it's kept super clean and tidy and the bedding is perfectly comfortable. Would stay again.”
Look out over gardens, Oxford's famous dreaming spires, and across the Thames Valley from the balcony. Designed by an award-winning architect, this bright, airy loft is on the top floor of a quiet Victorian terrace, and features original artwork.
“We had a wonderful time at Lucy’s attic Airbnb. Beautifully decorated, light and airy, with a lovely view. We really appreciated the extra touches, like the fresh bread and marmalade in the fridge. The Airbnb is a stone’s throw away from the river and a short walk from the city centre, and is perfect for anyone who wants to explore Oxford. We will definitely be back!”
