I had an enjoyable two-night stay at The Baker. The space was impeccably clean and cozy. There was ample parking, and the building was within walking distance of multiple eateries and shops.

We booked this apartment to attend a wedding down the street, and we are so happy we did! It was a perfect home away from home and retreat in between and after all the festivities! The pictures don’t really do it justice, it’s so much more spacious. It was peaceful, quiet and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Parking, although it was on the street, was very easy and convenient. Most of the time we got the space right in front of the apt door. Could be hard to access for people with mobility restrictions… lots of stairs to climb to get into the apt. We didn’t really have a chance to use the kitchen unfortunately, because it’s has all the amenities and lots of counter space. You won’t regret spending a relaxing couple of days here!

Our stay was nice. The host let us check in early, and was very nice. The house is within 10-15 minutes of a lot of restaurants and stores. It is set in nature and pretty peaceful. The windows provide a lot of natural light and beautiful views. We did have issues with the cleanliness, as there was still food in the freezer and fridge as well as things in the bathroom drawers, but chalked it up to a previous guest just forgetting about it. They were easily missed things. So, that was fine. The land around is beautiful and we saw a lot of deer. Our dogs enjoyed playing on the trails and tried to climb into the stream. The beds were okay and the internet worked pretty well. Check in and out was simple. If you're looking for a place in nature that is close to town, this is the place for you.
