I feel like I'm part of the family already. Amazing staff, great breakfast, large room, near to all the activities and action in Granada. They hire out motorcycles so it is super easy to go explore the surrounding villages

Quiet location, lots of privacy, good tips to experience in the area

This was my favorite place I stayed in Granada. Such a quaint and beautiful spot. I stayed in the pool all night on one of the evenings I was there. The staff was so helpful and friendly and helped me figure out my transportation for my next stop in Nicaragua. I would definitely return on a trip back in Granada. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main center and I walked it everyday and felt safe. (I was a solo female traveler).Took $1 taxis after 9pm. Breakfast was also good!

Great little place right by town square

Very happy we got to have this experience. I’ve really wanted to stay in a colonial house and this has been a great choice. Juan was very attentive and made sure we had a great stay in our short Granada pass by on our honeymoon. Really nice breakfast 🥞 pancakes were delicious and Juan made de sure to have fresh juice the next morning for me as he took note I can’t take in artificial sugars. He made l really good recommendations about the places to visit insist and places to eat at. As it’s located very conveniently, maybe bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper like me and don’t be shy to ask for the water heater to be turned on in case you like your water hot. As it can get too hot they have the best interest off the guests in mind and turn it off in order to avoid burns. Senora Elena, Juan’s mother, lives there and she’s lovely. Thank you for the hospitality.

A lovely, shaded oasis amidst the summer heat and energy of the city! Our hosts were wonderful and helpful for the duration of our stay, and the pets added to the familiar, laid-back atmosphere.

it was beautiful and loved my stay

This was a great stay! The location/view is absolutely breathtaking! It was awesome being able to share fresh breakfast at the Rancho with the other guests-both because the food was delicious (again the view of the lake over coffee 😊) and getting to mingle with others. The only thing missing was the hot water but honestly with the Nicaragua heat, I didn't really miss it in hindsight. Keep in mind you are in nature so you may come across a creature or 2, but the staff was helpful there (and I hope enjoyed a laugh on my behalf. Spiders are not my friend 😂). The dogs were definitely the icing on the cake! They are gentle giants and came to greet me most mornings. Add to that, being able to take a kayak out at my leisure or just taking a dip in the lake to cool off. So many reasons to love this place!

I booked this place for my mom, and Rebecca helped so much! The communication was beautiful and my mom loved everything about it! she said it was a beautiful stay, she was welcomed in a lovely way and Rebecca took care of her. she mentioned that the bed was comfortable. she said, "The difference between the neighborhood to Rebecca's place was incredible, the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in heaven ". thank you for everything!

This place was amazing! The staff was on point, the food was some of the best I had my entire trip in Nicaragua, the drinks were tasty, and the room was super cute. We were greeted with monkeys, beautiful views of the Laguna, and an incredible ambiance. Casa Marimba was decorated so thoughtfully and it looks like a storybook every single day that we woke up. I never wanted to leave and the photos do not do this place justice. I would come back here time and time again, and look forward to visiting again sometime in the future. Well done! Highly recommend. The staff were also noteworthy, friendly, and very accommodating. 5 Stars!

I had to stay emergency at Rebeca's house, and it was a great salvation,the house is super cute and she is very kind. His two pets Bruno and Margot are very nice ;D, they didn't interrupt me at all and everything was great, he even offered me a juice when I arrived, everything was very personalized. The only observation is that the WiFi to one of the rooms costs you to arrive, but out of there everything is excellent.😄

Excellent place and our best in Nicaragua so far! The property, pool, terrace and view are beautiful. The room is very comfortable and we slept great in the very comfortable bed. Ursula is a totally friendly, lovely and great host. The breakfast was excellent and we always had her cooked in the evening because it was just super super delicious! We can recommend this property 100%.

Martina is an exceptional host. attentive to her customers. receptive to communications. Had difficulties with taxis she immediately directed towards the buses . She knows are grenada. taxes, tuctucs, buses. she welcomes her home with wide open arms. ns brings to her ptite grocery store near her home. she is attentive to our needs, as I had never lived. my experience at home is even better than I would have imagined. in my eyes, she is no longer a host, but a friend. her countryside with her horse, her pig, her chickens, roosters , ducks and her dogs, have been a magical experience of my visit

Martina's place exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect. Although it is a little far from downtown, you can use the village bus right in front of the house and the bus fare is also available for $1 round trip. Relax and enjoy the peace in the secluded countryside. The owner is easy to communicate with, and she is an experience who has traveled a lot, knowing and helping the traveler's needs. It was a great stay. I recommend it to everyone.
